Our Golden got diagnosed with cancer so we wanted to switch to a grain-free food. He loves this one, and he had no problem switching from the old brand.

Merrick Grain Free Duck and Sweet Potato is a winner in our home. We have two big dogs one is an allergy dog and the other a senior, and Merrick GF has exceeded our expectations for both. This food is grain free, by-product free for the allergy kid and has good amounts of a glucosamine & chondroitin (supplements for joint health) for my senior. (Plus and this might be TMI, our seniors stool is much improved on Merrick.) Our "kids" coats are soft and shiny and the vet says their diet is everything he could hope for for any of his clients.Notable things about Merrick Grain Free Duck & Sweet Potato:
* Made in USA (never any ingredients from China)
* Grain-free, GMO-free (GMO = genetically modified organism)
* Above-average protein and fat when compared to a typical dry dog food.
* contains skin and coat supplements omega-3 fatty acids (.4%) & omega-6 (4.50%).
* contains joint health supplements glucosamine hydrochloride (1200 mg/kg) & chondroitin sulfate (1200 mg/kg)
* contains chelated minerals, minerals that have been chemically attached to protein. This makes them easier to absorb.
I only feed 5-star rated foods as rated by www.dogfoodadvisor.com, but this food has stood out against many of other 5-star foods we've tried both in cost and my pup's over all satisfaction. We also feed Merrick Turducken Dog Food 13.2 oz (12 Count Case) wet food in additon to the dry. They just gooble this stuff up! Enthusiastically recommended.

I checked out several different dog foods before choosing Merrick. It's high quality and excellent standards make this dog food one of the best on the market. My dog had terrible allergies (to grains) and scratched himself all the time until he had terrible scabs on him. I was taking him to the vet every few weeks for a shot of prednisone to stop the itching because it was SO bad! After switching to Grain Free Merrick and switching his shampoo his itching stopped, the scabs have healed and I no longer take him to the vet for anything other than his yearly checkup and shots. This dog food made a huge difference in my dog's life.Read Best Reviews of Merrick Grain Free 25-Pound Real Duck and Sweet Potato Dog Food, 1 Bag Here
My dog had some areas that would dry out causing loss of hair. And she was always itchy. We had her on the Merrick Classic (my dogs love it) with our other two dogs (which had no issues) and never thought to think that she was allergic to grain based foods. We changed her to this and saw a drastic change in her coat within 3 weeks. My dog has been on this food for about 3 months now and we love it... she definitely loves it, too. She eats less (gets full faster) and her poops are smaller. We really like this food and recommend to anyone looking for a high quality grain-free food for your pup. We love our dogs and only feed the best. Merrick rocks!Want Merrick Grain Free 25-Pound Real Duck and Sweet Potato Dog Food, 1 Bag Discount?
I really wanted to like this product, because we only feed our dogs food that has meat listed as the main ingredient. We normally use Taste of the Wild and wanted to try something new. Unfortunately, within an hour of putting this in our mastiffs' food bowl, they started passing gas almost non-stop. It seemed like every time they moved a cloud of doggy gas would move through the room and we'd have to leave until it cleared out. Buy a small bag of this food and try it out on your dog before spending a lot of money and buying a few bags at once like we did. If we were so uncomfortable smelling it, I can only imagine what their poor bellies felt like the whole time trying to get rid of it. :(

My puppy (3lb morkie) throughly enjoyed these treats. They are small and very soft, I was able to break them down easily for him. I like that they are natural and I can read and pronounce the ingredients. The smell is not that appetizing but it is for dogs LOL He went through this bag in 2 weeks! I have a one year old Pomeranian puppy. He has been a picky eater from the get-go. I thought this product might do the trick. It has high quality ingredients and there's nothing wrong with it, but my little Joey just isn't crazy about it. He has eaten it on a couple of occasions but mostly turns his nose up to it and I am forced to make him a homemade meal. If anyone has any tips about a special brand or any type of food that has worked on their picky pup, I would be very grateful to hear about it. I always find something that he will eat and there are several healthy treats he enjoys, but it would be nice to have a certain food that I could put out and know he's gonna eat it. But as far as this dog food goes, i'm sure most normal dogs would gladly have this in their bowl.

Our dogs love Beneful treats. The stars and Hugs are their favorites. Stars are big enough that I can break one in half for both our small breed dogs and they are very affordable compared to other doggie snacks. The brand has not been connected to any illnesses in pets that I am aware of so I feel like these are safe for consumption by our pets. Our toy fox terrier is finicky at times but she does not turn down Stars or Hugs from Beneful.

I buy lots of dog treats. My dogs seemed to like this one. Within a couple of days of eating them my beagle started passing the foulest gas. Then my dachsund mix threw up the most nasty smelling vomit. I work around a lot of gross things in a hospital but I can say this is one of the only times a smell almost brought me to puking.I threw out my supply of treats which were the only new thing in their diets. DON'T BUY THEM if you value clean air and/or your sanity.

My dogs, and many of my client's dogs, inhale regular rawhides. I was always worried about them swallowing big chunks.
And I really hate flavored plastic bones, as well as veggie bones, since I've seen chunks of those being swallowed whole right in front of me a number of times.
These have been by far the best solution for me. It takes the dogs much longer to chew them, and they really have to work at it. For all my medium to heavy chewers, these are my first choice.
Having said that, nothing is 100% safe. After chewing up most of the bone, a very food motivated chewer could the remaining hard chunk which could be a serious problem. That's why I tend to choose the bigger sizes (8" or 10") over the little ones (4"), and take the bone away when it gets to a swallow-able size. I buy these in bulk. The value compared to other types of rawhides is huge, even without a bulk discount.
These come in flavors also. This plain style, as well as the the chicken flavored ones, have not been messy at all. The beef ones are not quite as tidy.

These rawhide chews are great and I love the compressed bones because they take my dogs much longer to chew. The only problem? In the product description it says it is a package of 4 but it's not only 1.Very misleading description, please change that so others don't make the same mistake I did!

The description states" Ingredients are 100 percent natural rawhide. Comes in pack of 4. Measures 8-inch length"
there was only one & it was gone in 2 hours
Big disappointment. If there had been 4 as the description stated then 4 stars because it would have kept them out of trouble for a bit.

When I first saw this contraption, I was skeptical; but since I got it for $1.99, I figured if it didn't work I wouldn't be out much. This was a nice surprise. I was expecting it to be blue, but the one I got is a pale yellow. At first, my budgies, Jake and Stella didn't pay much attention to it. Honestly, I think Jake may have been a little afraid of it. When there was no activity with the holder after a few hours, I tried a new tactic. This thing works much better if you cram two millet sprays into it instead of one. It pushes the sprays up against the sides of the basket and makes access to the seeds much easier. Once they get the hang of eating out of it, the holder works great. It also solves the problem of Stella ripping the sprays apart for sheer entertainment. She would tear at the stem until it was completely bare, eating little or none of the seed. Poor Jakey didn't used to even get a chance to eat any of the millet, unless he picked it out of the bottom of the cage. This thing slows Stella down considerably and she doesn't guard it from Jake the way she would a bare spray. A great solution if you have a millet monster like I do!

One of my zebra finches got himself trapped upside-down in this holder after climbing in from the top, trying to get at some leftover millet inside. He wedged himself so far in that he had trouble breathing and couldn't get himself out. I had to cut the holder apart to get him out. Since finches can die if they can't get to food during the day, this is a dangerous holder to leave in a cage unsupervised!Get a smaller one if you have finches. Or better yet, just clip the millet to the side of the cage.

These work well for the finches, but not for me. My finches really enjoyed these but oh those husks, they flew everywhere! Since I have 12 finches, it's important for me to find ways to reduce the flinging of the husks and this is not what I want to use. My millet now sits in a fairly shallow tupperware bowl and works fine. Perhaps for others this will work, but not for me.

This is my first review, after many many orders on Amazon. I had to write about these supplements. After a couple weeks of my large yellow Labrador being on them, we noticed a GREAT improvement with his shedding! We had tried everything, even the furminator, to help with his shedding. Nothing really worked until we tried these vitamins! It took a couple weeks, but all of a sudden we noticed how drastically his shedding decreased. I would recommend this product to anyone with a dog that sheds! Especially a lab or other breeds that shed a lot!

I Heard about this product from my sister who has two labradors. She uses it during the whole year for dry skin and said it really helps. I have a Yorkie with skin allergies and he is constantly scratching & licking himself. I bought this Safari Pets Skin and Coat supplement 3 weeks ago and the scratching & licking has been significantly reduced.....my dog seems to enjoy eating them as well. Highly Recommended!!!I have a Cocker who suffers from hot spots and he loves these. Eats them easily like treats. 3 weeks using them, the results have been amazing.My dog was itching a lot and this, taken once a day, seems to help a lot with that, so I'll keep using it.They seem to help along with a change in diet for clearing up hot spots on our dog. Will order again.Did re-order as the missus stopped giving to our Malamute for a couple of days and he broke out again.

We've been using the Merrick ears for years but the prices have certainly gone up, and we're looking for a cheaper alternative. I don't think this is it for us. The ears are HUGE and definitely have a meaty end to them, but they're greasy compared to Merrick. Our dogs took the ears reluctantly and stared at them for a while... finally one dog ate his. Alas we've found undigested pieces of the ear when he potties. They may work for some dogs, but they're not good for ours.

This is a great leash! It is retractable, has a built in water bottle, a dish to serve it in and a place for bags. It even has a wrist band so that you don't have to hold onto the leash when you are pouring the water and the leash glows in the dark! They have thought of just about everything. Even the length is pretty good if your dog likes extra room to frolic in the grass as you walk. The only improvements I could suggest would be to make it slightly smaller at the top if possible and to have a feature on the leash to either temporarily keep the leash from extending by manually holding down the mechanism or locking it in place. Right now it only locks in place and then you have to manually release it. Other than that, it is just what I was looking for and I hope they keep making it.

This makes walking to dog so much easier. Before I would always forget the waste bags, but now I always have them and always need them. The water bottle is good too on hot days. The only negative is the length of the leash and its very thin.Buy Water Walker 4-in-1 Retractable Dog Leash, Black Now
My girlfriend and I were excited to buy this for the summer walking season having bags and water bottle along with us for our corgi was a much anticipated featureThe second I picked it up today I was worried the whole unit was extremely light and cheap feeling but knowing heft is not nessisarily an indication of quality we gave it a shot
This product lasted less than 1 full use our corgi simply walked (yes walked NOT ran) out to the end of the lead and you heard the spring break and it no longer retracts after completely normal use and no hard handling
Will not be purchasing a similar product

This leash is great! My dog does not like the heat and having the water right on board is wonderful. We stop in the shade and I pour some water for her and she drinks it right out of the little bowl and then off we go. It's very comfortable to hold and operate too. My only thought would be to make the actual leash a little thicker if possible. It seems to get twisted a lot and since I have a 60 pound brindle female pit who is very very strong it would be nice to have. It is nice now not to have her yanking my shoulder out when she finds something interesting to sniff I can just press the button and she gets her few extra feet of freedom. Great invention. Would highly recommend.Want Water Walker 4-in-1 Retractable Dog Leash, Black Discount?
