My one year old boxer had gotten red bumps all over her chin. When I researched, it turned out she had "canine acne". I had never heard of it before. Maybe not saying much because as we have learned, our 10 month old lab puppy will eat anything. She does, however, really like these and they seem to be a healthy treat to use when learning commandsOur dog has a liver condition and cannot eat meat. Our vet highly recommends these treats because they are all natural. Our dog loves them too!My dog has loved these treats from the beginning. I have used them as a training reward for commands as well as an all round treat. She has not put on extra weight during training as she did with other treats. I have given her up to 20 treats a day during her training. I use them and include her twice daily meals.

very convenient but requires a little training. I have a baby Chinese water dragon and going to the pet store to by live crickets every week and maintaining the cricket's enclosure on top of the water dragon's enclosure is too much of a hassle. I grow a lot of carnivorous plants and during the winter I don't have access to live bugs like I normally feed them. I ordered these and the Fluker's dried mealworms, to feed them throughout the winter. We have 3 Scottish Terriers and they LOVE this thing! Scotties love fresh, running water to drink, but don't like getting water in their face. I've been very pleased with this fountain. I placed it beside my "Catit" cat fountain, which needs refilling less often now-I'm assuming because my big dog prefers the Big Dog fountain. Though this isn't a must have item by any means, we do have a big Golden Retriever (we actually own two Goldens) that has always preferred drinking from a stream of running water (like a faucet or the water pouring from a bottle, etc.) and we do spoil our dogs sometimes... So out of curiosity I ordered this thing. Well when it arrived, I disassembled it and washed everything and then re-assembled... I figured this would be good practice and allowed me to evaluate the design and fit. Filled it with water and turned it on... HUMMMMMM!!! ...LOUD!!! LOUD!!! LOUD!!! this thing hummed sooo loud it could be heard two rooms away and even faintly from another floor. It was Friday evening so I had the weekend to play around with the thing. Everything I tried did nothing to quiet the loud humming of the little aquarium pump motor. I figured this canNOT possibly be right... they've probably sold tens of thousands of these things by now and no way would they have been able to do that if they all sounded this loud. So first thing on Monday I called the seller, who immediately agreed with me that something was not right, it should be very quiet. I was given the phone number of the manufacturer's customer service. After a nice conversation in which they also agreed something was not right with my unit, they sent me out a new motor/impeller at no charge. It took a week and a day to get to me. After I installed the new motor/impellor... TADA!!! no more hum. This thing is very quiet... now all I hear anymore is the gentle trickling of the water stream, hooray! ...its actually a kinda relaxing sound. The moral of the story here is... its not suppose to be loud and if you have a unit that is, just complain and ask for a new motor/impeller.

I don't like all the controversy surrounding rawhide bones and don't want take the risk of my Lab getting a blockage so I exclusively give him Booda bones which are safe. My lab is an aggressive chewer and considering this is edible it makes him that much more excited as he LOVES food. He enjoys these bones but devours them in less than 20 minutes. I usually give it to him for a few minutes until he eats half of it and then I take it away to save for next time. Our Siberian Husky is overweight and on a diet. She also is great at building placque and tartar on her teeth baad breath! She has a touchy stomach on top of it all. Tried these bones in all flavors and she loves them. They help with her teeth and breath. She gets one bone for her lunch (she's a 3 meals a day gal). Her other meals are now canned green beans with either yogurt (plain) or low fat cottage cheese. She has lost about 11 lbs and is doing great! I had such high hopes for this bone! I own a staffordshire bull terrier who is a powerful and voracious chewer. The plastic ends of the bone would be perfect for her, but they put this rubber layer in the middle (the green part) and she has torn it to shreds. I gave it to her last night and this morning I have little green rubber bits all over my floor and she ingested a fair amount of it (says it's non-toxic and hasn't seemed to bother her). This bone is probably too big and heavy for my medium size cocker spaniel. But I bought it anyway, because he was able to demolish the Nylabones that were labeled "for medium dogs".
