Amazon contacted me saying this product was as good and cheaper than Halo. I tried it. The chicken comes in whole breasts. They are hard th break apart. They break into strings.There are no directions on the packaging do yu need to refrigerate after opening? Is is just chicken or does it have chemicals too? The smell is very strong and unpleasant. I wanted a product that was made in the US rather than China. Most raw cow hides come from the US and are shipped to China for processing. Rawhides produced in the US generally should be fresher and not packed in crates and preservatives for months. I have a higher level of confidence there are fewer harmful chemicals if any when made in the US and with this brand. For our 5 month old German Shorthair Pointer puppy this product can outlast her need to chew. I like the roll better than the bone style. With the wrapped style, she was able to rip the wrapped ends off quickly and I had to watch her carefully to make sure she did not ingest large pieces. I am sure a larger dog could quickly devour one in a setting, but for our 30 pound dog it is lasting a good while. First rolled hide that hasn't given Moose explosive poops. So good there. He is able to completely consume one 9-10" roll in one day. So bad there. At least I think he's not getting toxic waste. This is the same brand and size as the last one that I ordered, but this one did not last at all. My small mixed breed dog had it reduced to 1/4 of its original size in under an hour! It also had a strange odor. When you pay for a premium product, you expect quality. Their is no consistency in the product. I will have to search for another rawhide toy.

Natural Balance Duck and Potato is a great dog food, especially if you want to (or have to) get your dog on a grain-free diet. When I stumbled upon this on Amazon, I couldn't believe 1. Amazon sells dog food, 2. the price here is A LOT cheaper than at any pet store (store or online), and 3. free shipping!!! Had I known sooner, I could've saved $$ and trips to the store. If you're wondering, every bag I buy here, as soon as I get it, I check the expiration date and it's always good (as in you have same amount time til exp.date like those bags from the pet store). The small bites version is also so much friendlier to my little dog's little mouth.The breeder started our puppy on a combination of this "small bites" Natural Balance food along with canned food of the same type and then transitioned him into just this kibble. All the puppies in the litter love the food, and their digestion seems pretty regular. We highly recommend this food for small breed dogs with eating sensitivities and/or for people who prefer to feed their dogs a natural, grain-free diet.We have a westie that has allergies and had spent a lot of money going to the vet. She had ear infections and she was licking/biting her paws. We looked on a lot of westie blogs and even ordered special dog supplements. We eventually ended up mading her dog food for several months with ground beef and dog supplements (which was a pain to do).

I have an older dog who does not appear to have arthritis, but I thought I would start him on a joint supplement just to keep him as mobile as possible. Within a week of starting on the initial dose (twice as much as the maintenance dose for 3 weeks), he was running and jumping more than he has in years. I thought my 11 year old dog had simply matured into a well behaved angel who no longer "counter surfed" and helped herself to whatever she wanted. There were no obvious signs of discomfort that one associates with an aging dog; no difficulties getting up from extended periods laying down, still playful with the other dogs. I just thought perhaps she could use some glucosamine & chondroitin supplements to aid her aging joints. After only a week at the initial dose level my dog was back to her young dog naughty ways. My Lab has severe artheritis and this was my last hope. I did exactly as the directions said and after 6-8 weeks I saw a significant difference. She started to go on short walks which in turn made her legs stronger. I bought her a red rubber bone (Kong) and I put a tablet on each side she loves the taste so she cleans her teeth while getting her dose. I will be ordering this again and again.

This fit our puppy perfectly and he loved it. I wasn't sure how he'd feel about clothes, but he didn't bother it at all. The hood doesn't fall over his head like other coats and shirts with hoods do. I have two dogs one with severe allergies who only tolerates fish protein. I purchased these chews so she could have some treats as she can't have Greenies anymore. Well, the dog I bought the treats for isn't fond of them (hence one star off), but my other dog adores them! I love that they are just one ingredient and made in the USA. The only thing I'd like to know is where the fish is processed (research tells me that even companies that buy US-caught/raised fish send it to China for processing, where chemicals are added. I have the nobbiest dog I know. She generally is all about dried bananas, dried apples (sometimes) and chicken jerky. The only dog food she will eat is the dehydrated food from THK, so when I found out they also had treats, I figured I've wasted more money than this on a treat she hated. She LOVES these. I cut the beams in half and she chews on them for quite a while. I think I might have been more excited than she was, because she rarely chews on anything. Hard treats are not for her. I'll totally buy these again. The only downside is the fish breath in your face when they give you kisses for the yummy snack :)
