We were searching for a treat we could use in clicker training for our golden retriever puppy. We tried some by Blue Buffalo, which she liked, but they made my hands smell gross, and I did not want to put smelly, crumbly treats in my pocket. I found these Tricky Trainers at a local fancy pet store and THEY ARE WONDERFUL. My dog will do nearly anything to get these. They smell like cheddar cheese, instead of funky liver or whatever. They do not leave my hands smelly, they do not leave stinky crumbs in my pockets (no crumbs at all) and they're super easy to manage.

My goldendoodle puppy loves these treats. I was buying them at a local pet super store until they stopped getting them in. I was sad to learn there were no other local sources when I checked on the manufacturer's website. They also did not offer online ordering from their site either. My dog loved this bone, but it didn't last long.... I need to get a few more of these. The only thing I would say, and maybe it is just my dog, but she liked to pull out the red part, and then little remnants were left on my carpet, which is a light color. It did not stain, was just a little messy and I had to vaccuum.

What I got is not what was pictured. I have 2 yorkies that I usually give the mini Dingo bones to. I thought I would try these so they would last longer. What I got were bone shaped rawhide 'bones' They can't even get them started. I would retuen them but they are both already open.

This is our Golden Retriever's favorite pool toy. She fetches it non stop, and then will hang out by the steps in the shallow end and squeezes the berry so that water shoots out both sides. She slaps it underwater with her paws and it sinks a bit since it is hollow, but will pop back up to the surface if she lets it. The green "stem" quickly falls off, but she doesn't care. I just purchased a third one. The original berry is just now starting to degrade after three summer's worths of fun.

I bought this item based on other dog toys I have purchased from Orbee. My 3-year-old lab mix dropped his tennis ball to play with this immediately. Within two hours, he had torn the strawberry to pieces, without any treats inside. The other dog toys from Orbee have withstood his chewing, but he tore the bottom off this one. It's a shame, because it was really cute. It also had an irregular bounce which would have kept him occupied and a little off-balance.

Overall I like Orbee's product line but this item didn't do very well with my dog. Back to tennis balls! They're cheaper and it's more fun to watch him peel them apart.

I'm conflicted on how I feel about this. The dogs LOVED it, and it's really cute, but within a day, it was ruined. They chewed off the green leaves on top within a few hours, but before that, they were carrying it around, chewing it, bouncing it. It'd be great for a dog who isn't as into chewing as my dogs are. Even though they ruined this, I'm thinking of buying another orbee ball. It might be the scent or flavor that made the dogs love it more than most similar toys. Still, I want something without a hole because they got their teeth in too easily and broke it.

We were given this as a gift for our 3-yr old shepherd mix and she loves it. We fill it with rice which keeps her busy for about 20 minutes while she gets every last piece out. She loves picking it up and dropping it against the ground or a table to get things to pop out. Definitely prefers this over her kong I think maybe the material feels better in her mouth, and much less dog hair sticks to it. She now brings it to us and drops it at our feet when she wants a snack.

I purchased one of these hoofers at my local PetCo and my small 16lb mixed breed loves it. The "Hoofer" is the whole hoof of a bovine, the toes with the bones and meat and skin all there. It is dried and not cured, which I am really pleased with. Because it is the whole foot I wouldn't recommend this for dogs that like to swallow large pieces off of their chews. For my small dog it is great, even though it is as big as his head, he loves it!

It doesn't smell bad like sometimes just the clipped hoof can, and infact even when my dog has been chewing on it for a long session I don't notice it being smelly. I've had rawhides after being chewed smell pretty bad (from the curing chemicals I guess?) but this hoofer doesn't smell gross. Even though it has more stuff in it than just a rawhide it doesn't get super stinky, a big plus for our apartment since we can't leave chews outside.

Over all I recommend this hoofer as a good alternative to rawhides. If you have a big dog you may want to monitor them since it does have the toe bones inside and they are small.

I bought one single for my Lab. Yep, he did! He ate it in a matter of minutes. When I say, "it", I mean the whole thing! That includes a buncha one-inch bones. I had no idea there were so many in this thing! I would never knowingly give a large dog any bone so small. How do I know there were little bones in it? He's regurgitating them---and painfully I might add. Yep, I am now very worried for him. Yes, he was watched. Labs aren't animals that like to "drop it" when they have something in their mouths that they intend on eating. We did manage to toss about 5 bones, he's tossed another 4, so I am wondering how many more there are. YIKES! He did enjoy it however. :-/

Well, it does what I like, keeps my red heelers occupied for several hours over several days, and some up to a week! They enjoy the toe bones then and sadly will then chew on the hooves when they get all the flavoring out of the toe bones that they like. I get these and the pressed raw hide bones and between the two, there is no build up what so ever on their teeth at all! Their breath stinks, and its good to teach them to only chew these on their bed, but otherwise I think these are the best chew toy for our buck!

this treat is great for the dog that can take apart anything, i use them for my pitty, corgi and whippet, though i wouldn't suggest this for a dog thats going to swallow the bones with out chewing them first, or a dog that can chew off large pieces and swallow them.

I am just finishing the first box of these pressed rawhide bones for my rottie. She loves them, they last longer than regular rawhide, and she isn't able to chew off large chunks like with the regular rolled rawhide. The price is great and the convenience of buying in bulk is a time saver. The only change I would make is to remove the cardboard strip that comes on each bone to cut down on packaging, but not a huge deal.

I believe the title says it all. The original box was obviously damaged and taped with packaging as if a third grader had done the job. Upon receiving it and seeing it's appearance I then counted the number of bones which ended up being eight short....about 15% off. I have three power-chewers, and pressed rawhide bones are a must-have around our house. My dogs will quickly destroy cheap rawhides. With the choking hazard presented by bones that come apart too easily, it can be a challenge to find a decent pressed rawhide without breaking the bank. We were paying $5 $7 a piece for a good quality bone at our favorite pet store. We can go through as many as 5 a week...ouch. Adds up fast.

I dug around to try to find a quality replacement that would save us some money and stumbled on these on Amazon. I figured they would be flimsy for the price, but decided to give it a shot. I was astonished at the quality. They are great. These bones last as long as the ones I was buying from the pet store. The price is unbeatable. About a $1.70 a piece. That's a HUGE price difference. Even the box is great. We tear off the front flap, the way the item is pictured, and put the whole thing in a deep drawer in our kitchen. Very handy for us. We average about 1 box every three months. I haven't really counted, but it seems we burn through less of these than the others, too.

I am a firm believer that what you don't pay out in quality food and treats for your dogs, you pay out in vet bills, poorer health and shorter life span. So we buy top quality pet foods, etc. I really love it when quality comes with a great price, too. These have made three dogs VERY happy. They've made my wallet VERY happy, too. Excellent bang for your buck! I highly recommend these.
