My yorkie Bella loves these! She prefers these to the smaller "honey comb" shaped biscuits Kong offers. When I stuff her kong with these she won't leave it alone until it's completely gone. I also like these better than the biscuits because it sticks out a little more and is a little easier for her to pull out than the shorter, curvier biscuits while still being entertaining. I will say first off that my puppy loves these treats. He also loves the squeeze stuff you put in the kong. He will work on this one for a while but the problem is half the stick gets stuck inside the kong everytime. He can't get it out and eventually gives up. Then it takes me forever to try and get it out best thing I've found yet is a chop stick but even that is not easy. I'm not sure if I will buy more of these because they are such a pain for me. I have a three year old yorkipoo who has always been extremely picky about his food. We had some success (by "some success" I mean he'd eat half of what he was supposed to) with the Prarie brand by Natures Variety, but he always had runny eye problems and had trouble keeping weight on. My mother's vet recommended the Wellness brand for her dog to lose weight and suggested I try the small breed formula for my picky dog. I'm so glad I tried it! Since switching my dog to the Wellness small breed formula my dog eats every single piece. I don't have to sit there and encourage him to eat. He willingly eats the whole bowl and cannot wait for his next meal. I'm convinced that I could feed him 5 times a day and he'd still eat every last piece because its just that good. I have two Basenjis both of who are under breed weight/size and who have corn allergies. I cannot stress enough how awesome this food has been for them. Their appetites are up, they are putting on weight, they have more energy where their other food (which was also on the Top Ten Dog Foods List) made them sluggish and caused one to lick a hole in herself. This food has given me my girls back and I recommend it highly to anyone who has issues with small breeds with allergies. I could go on and on about the differences but honestly, buy a bag and try it. There is nothing I can say that you won't see for yourself.

All of the Sams Yams products are great, and if you have a dog with allergies, a sensitive GI tract or other issues, consider this as a treat. Made only of dehydrated sweet potato, this is a great treat/chew and has the added benefit of allowing your dog to maintain 'regularity' albeit with a bit of an orange color! The Big Boyz version of this treat is about twice as thick as the regular chews and a great choice for larger dogs. My dog has many food allergies so she is not able to chew on most dog bones. This product is great because I can give them to her without her skin breaking out into a rash. The dogs do love them, however, the "regular" sticks are pencil thin and not represented well in the picture. Takes a lab about 5 minutes to go thru one so you end up giving the dogs more for them to be satisfied. On top of that, these are not odor free. There's much better product just as economically priced out there.

I tried the Hill's Science Diet Ideal Balance Adult Sweet Potato and Carrot Veggie chips on two of our family's dogs. Both enjoyed it at first. One decided he preferred unhealthy treats instead. The other dog still loves these. We're trying to get her to lose some weight, so this is a good option for her. My veterinarian suggested these as a better option than Dog 1 prefers, but he's not buying it. Dog 2 approves.

Very disappointed. My dog has food allergies so she cant have beef or chicken. she loves fresh venison, to bad this was old, stale and did not smell like venison. Poor Daisy -disappointed hotdog.
