This is a very, very good product.

I use it for my girl's tear stains (Cocker Poo-Dog).

Use a little ca. 3-4 drops pure, without (NO) water and rub it gently under the dogs eyes where you usually see the staining (careful to not get into her eyes). Best is when you first clip the hair away with shears that have rounded ends (secure).

After you cleaned the area with "Precious Essentials German Chamomile Blended w/Jojoba " take a Q-Tip with a little warm water , not wet just damp, and take the intensity away. Then take a cotton pad (flat rounds are best)and completely dry it (essential). Than dip your pinky finger in some Johnson's Baby Powder, Pure Cornstarch (important), Lavender & Chamomile, 15 oz. by Johnson & Johnson and press gently onto the area--leave it like that (not in eyes-don't get the powder too close). You are done. Do this twice a day and soon your dog's tear stains will be gone. Sounds a lot , but it's actually not more than 5 minutes.

Let me know what you think. This is cheaper and better (more efficient) than all the tear stain remover products.

I have a maltese/poodle mix and this really does work. He HATES the beef flavor but likes the sweet potato flavor. I mix it in his food and he gobbles it up. I will continue to use it but now I do every other day.

This product does all it says it will. I began using this about three months ago on my Bichon and my Maltese/Yorkie. The Maltese mix is 4 years old and has always had dark eyes. The Bichon is a pup and began getting the dark lines on her eyes. In two weeks we noticed an amazing difference and now 3 months later everyone asks me how do you keep their eyes so white. Very well made doggie blanket. The snaps around the belly make it much easier to use than a raincoat we purchased which used elastic straps (and were just a mess when it pulled the hair on the dog's legs). The high collar is a PLUS, as most jackets and items with hoods don't seem to work (the hoods never seem to be long enough to reach the head). We did purchase the XL size for our medium size dog and it works out great. Good purchase; good company!

This was definitely truth in advertising. The sample photo (for the quilted purple one) looks almost exactly the same as what the coat looks like on my dog. My dog's back is a little longer, but it still comes down to where her tail begins, which is better since her tail scoops upward. The stated recommendation for this size is 10-14 inches from start of tail to base of neck (just above the shoulder blades). Those are my dog's dimensions, so the perfect fit tells me the size chart for this item is correct.

It seems to be keeping my dog warm in the foggy early morning hours, or around the house when I don't turn on the heat. I bought another jacket for her from the same manufacturer (this one a rain slicker) and it fit well over this one, so if it is cold and rainy out she will still be in good shape. Overall I'm perfectly happy with this purchase and will buy more from this same maker, knowing the sizing works appropriately for my dog. I'll upload a photo of the size chart in a minute.

We have one female thunder-fireworks-phobic dog and one male fireworks-phobic dog. Neither are the worst case scenario (the word phobic is probably too strong but dog owners know what I mean) but it's heartbreaking to watch them shake, pace and pant, wander the house looking for a safe place, jump up on the bed for a few minutes and down when we're trying to sleep etc. My 80+ pound female even wraps herself around hubby's head when she jumps up on the bed when he's sleeping!

I've tried at minimum 20 different calming tablets over the past 4 years that had no effect whatsoever. Thundershirts with all their great reviews unfortunately did nothing for them, although both dogs looked pretty darn snazzy wearing them and loved wearing them, too. Our male is absolutely fine with thunderstorms but the fireworks are another story.

A few months ago I tried Vetri-Science Composure which was slightly helpful. Then I found the Pet Naturals with the same ingredients, however, the ingredient amounts are about half of the Composure. You'd think you'd have to give double what the Composure dose is just because of that alone but I found that isn't true. The Pet Naturals works better :) and I'm giving her less "stuff" in her system with better results which I like. I then noticed that the Pet Naturals says Sugar Free on the front of the package and I'm thinking that may be what makes the difference. I don't see this on the Composure package. Dogs don't need nor should they have sugared products anyway. We all know what too much sugar can do to kids, so to me sugar free makes more sense and is better for one's dog.

There is nothing that's going to cure them, but the relief our female gets from the Pet Naturals is significant enough that I will continue to buy it. I will be trying them on my male for the upcoming fireworks season. Here it's not one night but a "season" because of all the idiots shooting fireworks off all over the neighborhood that don't care about what their fun is doing to others. Having two fireworks-phobic dogs takes all the fun out of fireworks for us.

She's an 80+ pound dog and I give her 5 chews for thunderstorms. They must be pretty tasty because they both love them and she'll take them even if I miss the beginning of the storm. Normally, she won't eat *anything* and I do mean that literally. I give my male 1/2 of one chew when I dose my female just so he doesn't think he's missing out on anything, LOL! I will probably do 6 for the upcoming fireworks because she's more affected by fireworks.

I did call both companies and asked how long between doses is safe and both companies told me to check w/our vet which I did just this morning. DO NOT go by my vet's recommendation for your own dog -check with your own vet! Anyway, she said I can go with dosing 6-8 hours apart for one day only. If additional days are necessary (we've had several stormy days lately) only 2x per day after that initial day. According to our vet it's the thiamine that they can OD on. So, these should not be given freely nor like candy. They can OD so use it wisely, and contact your vet before you do any dose increases from the regular dose on the package. They do work better if I can beat the storm and get them into her about 30 min prior to that first thunder-boomer.

The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the package for medium to large dogs only contains 21 chews and I would prefer more in a package. I looked at the package for "giant" size dogs which comes in 50 chews but there's *way more* thiamine in that than she can safely have. Even 1/2 a chew would be an overdose of thiamine for their weight according to our vet.

My dog is afraid of any loud noise (thunder, fireworks, etc) and now associates rain with thunder so as soon as the rain starts he gets nervous he also gets nervous about road trips at times. We now give him these when he starts getting nervous and it definitely relaxes him. He is not completely himself during a storm, etc, but he does not run off and hide under the bed. In fact, over time, he has gotten better and better about thunder now he stays by me and woofs at the noise at times. Much better than being afraid.

I have Airedale terriers and, like all terriers, they tend to be pretty active (and a bit hyper). My youngest had surgery recently, and the vet told me to keep him calm and not to let him play or jump. Very funny...the man must not know much about 2-yr old terriers. I happened to see these and, liking Pet Naturals of Vt products, thought I'd give them a try. They really work, and the dogs love them. They don't make the animals druggy, but they do take the crazy down a few notches. I have been recommending them to all my friends and now have them on Subscribe and Save order.

My dogs also like the Hip and Joint chews, and I'm thinking about trying the Daily Best. They really seem to like the taste.

We have a dog that is not finicky by any means, but was having seizures at times for unknown reasons. Since starting on this food and other limited ingredient treats the seizures have lessened in frequency and duration. I have a yorkie, and he could not bite into this hard and tough bone. I had to manually twist the bone until it broke (not very easy to do because the bone is so tough), and then he gnawed it slowly, and did eat it. Perhaps the dental cleaning benefit makes the inconvenience of having to break it for him worthwhile, but I do not think I will be buying this product again.

My poor ferrets spent half the winter itching and dealing with their dry skin before I came across this great product! Only one of our three dogs learned to use the machine, which is fine, because she's the one we bought it for! It took her no time to learn to use it. She looks like a little factory worker pushing the lever up and down. We've had it for five years, but my son accidentally stepped on it tonight and broke the plastic dome. This is an excellent product that has withstood a lot of rough use (up until now). We have to order another one immediately so Katie will still have her own private cache of food!

My dogs have to work for their dry food, end up they lost weight because each press only few drops come out and they take longer time to finish the food. Remember don't put too full just put what they need. It is a fun Treat Machine, I enjoy very mush to watch them, especially when taught them to get food from the machine. One of my dogs press the machine each time he pass by, he is not taking the food, just loves to play--so cute.

My dobermans love Yuppy Puppy. The enclosed pamphlet says it can take up to two weeks for your dog to learn how to work it, but that is probably an exaggeration as food is a great motivator. One of my dogs learned how to use it in under five minutes, using her paw, the other took about a day and prefers to use her snout to depress the lever. I tried to teach her with her paw but she learned her own way to do it. It is cute to watch them and is much anticipated when I say "Work the Machine!" Product is built sturdy for heavy use by mongrels and stays in place well. Doesn't tip over. Highly recommended.

It's easy to find locally & online. That was the only downside to the Eagle Pack which did wonder's for one of my Dobergirl's HOD, I had a really hard time finding it locally. On Chicken Soup Puppy their coats are shiny & soft. I am very careful not to feed anything with corn, lamb, or wheat due to thier food allergies. My female English Springer Spaniel (field Type) just had 6 puppies on June 18. I have always fed "Pedegree" puppy, but was horrified when I researched that they were on the bottom of the list. So was Science Digest, that I Vet made us buy 2 years ago when she had 8 puppies. I started two days before she ws due to whelp on this food, even though it ws $2.29 at the pet show. After a days of "Chicken Soup and rice" I started here slowly back on CSFPLSCF. At two weeks old now, those little pigs look like they are three weeks old. No one is obese, but every one is nice and puppy fat. Cody also has a great weight carriage and has plenty of mi.k available for the "piglets." I have even started to add a cup of CSFPLS dry food in the evening to tie her over until the morning. She also has free choice CSFPLS dry food all day long. The puppies are so wonderful looking and their development is right on target. I can't wait until the little ones start on their own eating CSFPLSCF. Amazon had an awesome price on the case, I was paying $2.29 + tax for one can and I paid $1.13 and free sipping. Needless to say I have four cases stockpiles and if I get low will order it again. This is an excellent item. My dogs love this, they are fully digestible, it gives our puppy a way to calm down when she gets too excited, and the dogs do not have the stomach problems associated with rawhide.

My only problem is that the description says 10 sticks and you only get 5. For this reason I will buy again but from another source that has a better price for the amount of product.

My oldest dog loved her Dingos but after the vet extracted 12 teeth, she could only chew rawride that had been soaked in water. These smart bones must taste as good as Dingos, because she takes one, goes to her bed and settles in to chew. I do believe they are also gentler on her digestive system.
