I was happy to find this giant sized bag of rawhide curls; have never seen a 6 lb bag before. The price was very good and I assumed that was for economy of scale. The bones look good at first sight, but they are not made of one continuous piece of rawhide that is tightly curled around itself like other rawhide curls, but of smaller pieces that are wrapped/pressed together to look like one piece. My dog likes them, but they fall apart into the smaller pieces as he chews them down. These are wasted pieces and are thrown away. A case of you get what you pay for, but I would probably buy them again if the same price.

My dogs love these! I have small dogs so it can be hard to find small treats that don't add a lot of calories to their diet. I like the fact that they have quality ingredients, & are baked. I love that this product is available in 6 packs, so you can have a fairly large supply at your house. They are very small and the perfect size to give your dog when you want to give him a treat but not spoil his appetite for a meal. My dog seems to love them, I leave a small handful for my dog when I leave for the day, and they aren't there when I get home. I like Cloud Star products because they seem to use quality ingredients. My dog is crazy over these!!!! They are all natural cheese. He carries this around with him everywhere just to make sure nobody took it. They don't smell too much and they aren't messy gooey, they just leave a few hard crumbs where he was eating it at. I can never be out of these or I would have a very sad puppy. My dog was able to break off big chunks of this chew. He managed to swallow one, but choked, and was only able to dislodge it by puking up the contents of his stomach. I know you never leave a dog unsupervised to eat a chew, but even with me being right there, my pooch could have choked to death because the piece was so far down his throat. I guess the hard substance makes it a good chew, but my dog was strong enough to actually break hard chunks off.

Reading the reviews for this product I noted that there were very mixed reviews. Some had pets that really seemed to like this product and others that showed no interest whatsoever. Since I need to find something for one of my cats who is having problems with scratching herself excessively, I figured that I would give it a try. Well both of my cats took a look and decided that this was not anything that they wanted to ingest. One just looked at it and walked away. The other put it in her mouth a few times and decided it was not what she wanted. I will not purchase this again. I do not recommend it to anyone. I have two black cats, one with a silky smooth coat, and the other with a more bristled coat that would rust if he sat in a sunny window for too long. After giving them these vitamins for a few weeks, they are both noticeably softer, and the cat whose fur had faded is jet black and shiny again. I was excited about finding these however my cats did not share my enthusiasm for these treats. Out of my four cats only two of them would even touch these and that only lasted a few days. I threw away most of two bags (different flavors)once the "newness" wore off and the kitties lost interest. These treats are very hard and I had to cut in half them with kitchen shears to give the cats a manageable piece. I do NOT have small cats! One is 13# and one is over 10#, the treats are just very hard to eat. I would not recommend nor purchase again.

I ordered a medium for my beagle mix after I did the measurements and she was a perfect match. Only 1 of the 3 or 4 velcrow strips actually reaches around enough to work. The hat is way too big and falls off as soon as she moves. Luckily with my sewing skills I was able to modify it Just shorten up the elastic on the hat and add a little fabric underneath so the straps reach! Much more than I planned to do to the costume, but it is still very cute!

The outfit is adorable, but the sizing runs big. The size scale says it measures the outfit by the inches of the dog from back of neck to where tails begins, but I think it actually goes by the dog's weight. I just made hem adjustments to fit.

We needed a "sheep" costume for our basset-lab-germanshepherd therapy dog but had to settle for a modified rabbit. I removed the ears and placed them on the side of the head so it looked more like a sheep.I also removed the rabbit tail. It looked great!! I added some velcro on the under belly and around the legs because it was not quite big enough because it had nice snaps rather than velcro which can usually be adjusted. Extra large is the largest size it comes in. If you have a particularly long dog or one with a big chest this may not be big enough. Have some velcros strips on hand.

This item was not appropriately described. After reading through the comments, some people mentioned sizing was too big and other said too small. My item (although the sizing chart said it would fit perfectly) was about 2 sizes too big. There is no way that their chart is an accurate representation of how this product fits. And now that they are sold out of smaller sizes, ordering a smaller size is no longer an option. I wouldn't buy again from this seller regardless.

I purchased one of these hoofers at my local PetCo and my small 16lb mixed breed loves it. The "Hoofer" is the whole hoof of a bovine, the toes with the bones and meat and skin all there. It is dried and not cured, which I am really pleased with. Because it is the whole foot I wouldn't recommend this for dogs that like to swallow large pieces off of their chews. For my small dog it is great, even though it is as big as his head, he loves it!

It doesn't smell bad like sometimes just the clipped hoof can, and infact even when my dog has been chewing on it for a long session I don't notice it being smelly. I've had rawhides after being chewed smell pretty bad (from the curing chemicals I guess?) but this hoofer doesn't smell gross. Even though it has more stuff in it than just a rawhide it doesn't get super stinky, a big plus for our apartment since we can't leave chews outside.

Over all I recommend this hoofer as a good alternative to rawhides. If you have a big dog you may want to monitor them since it does have the toe bones inside and they are small.

I bought one single for my Lab. Yep, he did! He ate it in a matter of minutes. When I say, "it", I mean the whole thing! That includes a buncha one-inch bones. I had no idea there were so many in this thing! I would never knowingly give a large dog any bone so small. How do I know there were little bones in it? He's regurgitating them---and painfully I might add. Yep, I am now very worried for him. Yes, he was watched. Labs aren't animals that like to "drop it" when they have something in their mouths that they intend on eating. We did manage to toss about 5 bones, he's tossed another 4, so I am wondering how many more there are. YIKES! He did enjoy it however. :-/

Well, it does what I like, keeps my red heelers occupied for several hours over several days, and some up to a week! They enjoy the toe bones then and sadly will then chew on the hooves when they get all the flavoring out of the toe bones that they like. I get these and the pressed raw hide bones and between the two, there is no build up what so ever on their teeth at all! Their breath stinks, and its good to teach them to only chew these on their bed, but otherwise I think these are the best chew toy for our buck!

this treat is great for the dog that can take apart anything, i use them for my pitty, corgi and whippet, though i wouldn't suggest this for a dog thats going to swallow the bones with out chewing them first, or a dog that can chew off large pieces and swallow them.

Both cats love this. One of them pukes pretty much every time she eats anything but with this she only threw up the first couple of times and now she has no problem, so I consider it a win. We worry about her getting enough nutrition with all the throwing up, so this is looking like a great supplement so far.

My cats love it. It is a bit overpriced though. And I don't like the epackaging claim that it is made of rice paper. Now, that sounds all so nice and eco friendly, but the truth is, it is plastic. Perhaps the outer packaging is layered with rice paper for effect. This doesn't change the fact that I am stuck with plastic packaging that is not biodegradable, and possible leaching of chemicals into the product. Nonetheless, I concede convenience of plastic packaging and some inevitability of its use, especially in shipping. Just, let's not make a misleading claim to give off a wrong impression.
