Love this stuff. I have been giving my 13 year old lab Bixbi for a year now and she is looking spry and full of life. She has had hip issues in the past but this past summer we were hiking and swimming like she is a pup again. Also have a bull dog that had some issues with hot spots and the skin and coat actually cleared them right up. I guess you could call me crunchy but I like to know that my pups are getting real food and not some wheat filler garbage.

I have a crazy energetic dog, Izzi, who loves to go mountain biking with me in Vermont. She probably travels double the distance that I do every ride. I wanted to make sure I took care of her joints and health so that she could continue to outrun me on a bike for many years to come. After searching online I ordered some Bixbi treats because I try to buy products made in the USA, and I wanted to give my dog real meat that didn't appear to be half-sawdust like most treats I see. I've never looked back! Now every time I hit the trails with Izzi I stick a couple pieces of Bixbi jerky in my pockets. My dog thoroughly enjoyed the Bonies "calming" chews, but just moments after finishing her first one, she had a high-arousal barking fit when a truck drove by ... she was not noticeably calmed by the treats at all (no "delayed effect" either, I'm afraid). I gave my dog one of these "calming" bones during a thunderstorm. She wasn't too interested in chewing it (she was too nervous) so it didn't achieve the desired effect. The next morning, she ate it, but not as quickly as she would have eaten it if it were one of her favorite edible chews. I think the lavender and/or chamomille flavors don't appeal to her, since she's used to getting bacon or beef flavored edible chews. These bones are comparable to Nylabone Healthy Edibles, which my dog loves.

As pup-parents to 3 corgies, we've been looking for the perfect chew treat...this is it!

Our pups love to chew, but we've had a tough time finding a product we can all live with. Our senior girl has brittle teeth & can't take on anything too hard, our middle-aged boy doesn't digest rawhide well, and the baby of the bunch gets bored easily. As for us, we aren't fond of anything that stains, stinks or stabs at their intestines!

Bonies are just right for each pup: hard enough to be chewed on for a while, soft enough to digest without sharp edges. There's no greasy feel or rancid smell. They actually smell pretty good to me and GREAT to the dogs open the bag & their noses go into overdrive! When finished, there's no evidence left behind (no spots or stains) and the dogs have fresher breath & happy, silly grins. By contrast, Greenies are too soft for them (more like something to eat,than something to chew), plus we've always been leery of giving them a wheat-based product.

It was interesting to read the previous poster's comment regarding MSM. My vet told me to make certain that MSM was part of the concoction while looking for Glucosamine, Chondroitin supplements for my dogs.

I researched MSM and found the following statement: MSM is a natural sulfur-containing compound produced by kelp in the ocean. Sulfur is stored in almost every cell in the body. The highest concentrations are found in joints, hair, skin, and nails. MSM is claimed to be an antioxidant, cell rejuvenator, and joint healer. (was found in Fosters and Smith's Pet Education)

I'll leave it to the readers to make their own judgment. I will ensure that my dogs have MSM as part of their supplement.

Yes. I think this osteo-pet total joint care for dogs is amazing. My vet prescribed me the same thing for my German Shepherd's hind legs...but it was more expensive. Double the price!!! This Osteo-pet works wonder and for half a price. I did my research and found that everything was the same just that the name was different. Definitely recommended for dogs with joint pain.

We've tried several different products to provide the glucosamine/chondroitin that our vet says our aging pooches need. The dogs like these chewable wafers, but there are only 60 in the bottle for $25. Since both of our dogs weigh more than 60 pounds, they are supposed to take 3 a day. At that rate, the bottle will last less than a month. We're still looking for the ideal product--one that the dogs will take without a hassle, and that costs less per dose than this one does.

My dogs love these things. I pick up the jar while they are asleep 3 rooms away and they come running. The dog I bought them for has not had a single hip issue since.

Our golden retriever was having real problem with his right hip, following surgery for an ACL injury. Already suffering some degree of dysplasia and arthritis, the surgery seemed to have exacerbated his hip problems, probably due to the shift of weight and gait during the process of healing.

The bottom line was that his hip was clearly causing him discomfort. We tried a variety of prescription and nonprescription medications, to no avail. After two weeks on Osteo-Pet, he is markedly improved. His mobility is noticeably better, and he's begun running (okay, trotting), something we hadn't seen in months.

Since we've also changed him over to a raw diet, it's possible that the Osteo-Pet supplement isn't wholly responsible for his significant improvement, but it does seem to be coincidental with the exact time frame that we started on the product. I'd recommend trying it; different regimens work with different dogs. Osteo-Pet worked for us.

A few months ago I decided to feed my two cats a healthier diet and wasted a lot of money trying a number of "quality" canned cat foods that my one picky cat refused to eat. I searched Amazon.com because pricing is generally very competitive and sure enough, Amazon.com has been consistently several dollars lower than if purchasing elsewhere. I finally got around to trying Wellness and found a wet food that both my cats will eat. The ingredients listed appear to be in line with what other brands consider to be essential in a healthy feline diet. My one cat, who had some pretty gross digestive issues with some other brands, seems to have no trouble with Wellness after eating it for 6 weeks now.

This particular type has slices of meat in a sauce, which my cats particularly enjoy. The gravy is a bit thick, so I add a bit of water and mix it so that the cats are getting more water in their diet. My cats like the tuna option much more than this turkey and salmon option, but the fact that they ate it at all was very positive to me. They currently eat the tuna twice daily, and there hasn't been any snubbing so far.

I can't complain about the quality of theses cans; not only does the food inside seem consistently good, but the cans came in good condition with descent expiration date.

Obviously, if you are a cat owner, you know that cats like what they like, and don't like what they don't like, so I can't say with certainty that your cat will like this food, but I'd definitely recommend it if you are looking for a higher quality food for your cat.

My kitties love Wellness grain free food, the chunky ones, not the pate. One of my kitties was diagnosed with diabetes, was drinking tons of water per day, gained weight. My cats were on a dry food only diet. It's convenient for me and they loved it. And I did buy the good stuff. But it didn't stop one of my kitties from getting sick. My vet said try diet first to change it before we went to medicines. So I switched my cats to all wet food all the time. I feed them twice a day. My big cat has lost weight and his numbers are all normal now. I even found him stuck up in a tree last summer!! He'd never done that before because he was too big!!

So I know the brand is called Dogswell, but I purchased these for my ferret. I had originally written Dogswell's customer service with my concerns of their products being made in China, and what exactly their process was so I could determine if they were safe to feed to my ferret. The customer service rep definitely alleviated my fears and I suggest that anyone that is concerned with the product to do their own fact hunting. You may just find out that conditions in the USA chicken markets are just as bad as in China (from what I've found, they are). Regardless, Dogswell went the extra mile and sent me a free sample of some of their products. My ferret loves both the chicken and duck flavored ones and will spend her idle time gnawing away at them which is great for her teeth and has vitamins that are good for her (being obligate carnivores unlike dogs). When I ordered here off of Amazon I received quality bags. I wholeheartedly recommend this product!

My 20 lb eskie mix adores this toy! I put small and large kibble inside it, and she'll chew on it for a full hour turning it over and over to try to get food to drop out. It works much better for her than the kong because her jaw is so tiny that she can weasel her way right into the bigger opening on the kong. I'm having to replace this toy after a year because she's torn off one of the little nubs that holds the food inside and can get to the food too easily, but it's held up very well otherwise.

I got this for my 20 pound mixed breed dog from Meijer grocery store. I filled it with cat food and it turned out to be a nice little toy. It is small (only holds about 1/4 cup or less of food) and smells slightly rubbery--ours is light blue in color. The holes at each end have 4 rubber prongs across them to make it more difficult to get the food out. Our dog really enjoys playing with it, and she seems to find it challenging...it takes her about an hour to get all the food out.

My only critiques of this product would be that the holes are too small to put larger sized kibble inside, hence why I used dry cat food as the treat. Also, while our dog doesn't like to chew rubber toys, if you have a big chewer this will probably get destroyed. The rubber is a bit softer than that of a red Kong toy. Also, since it's a solid piece of rubber, it's a little annoying to put the treats inside, as you have to go it only a couple at a time and get your fingers dirty with kibble. Not a big concern for me, but you could certainly find more user-friendly treat dispensing toys.

I am using this toy inside a Kong Wobbler to make it more difficult for the dog to get the kibble out. It's an excellent product for that. I have no reason to believe this isn't a wonderful chew toy, and I had hoped to use it to freeze food inside for a cool treat but it's small enough I didn't bother asking my dogs to test its strength. I have a tape measure and know how to use it so you'd think I wouldn't be surprised at the size of a product when it arrives, but the item IS smaller than I had envisioned it would be. I bought it on extreme sale or I would have been disappointed.

These are my dog's "inside bones". They last and last and last without turning into little chunks all over the rug. The dog is an 85 pound "working dog" which means high energy and really annoying when bored. He's had some of these nylabones for over two years. I only have to replace them when he sneaks one outside and buries it.

Yes, letting the dog out has its own ritual. "Inside bone!" -clunkas bone drops to the floor, hopefully missing my foot.

In comparison, the "outside" bones tend to be the leg bones of ungulates. Those things are solid, but he eats them anyway. I think. He does seem to enjoy burying them, digging them up, burying them elsewhere, and trying to smuggle those filthy things into the house. "Outside bone!" -clunk He also likes to carry and chew up firewood. Nothing lasts like a nylabone. Nothing is less messy inside the house than a nylabone.

I buy the "giant" size because it gives me a better grip for those tugs-of-war.

Very weird that the dog knew there were nylabones in the amazon box and that they were his.

I would not recommend this product for anyone who cares about their pet. Apparently the manufacturer of this product does not take measures to insure their product is safe. I ordered the correct size of bone for my Labrador Retriever according to the manufacturers size chart. Brand new out of the package no more than 10 minutes, while my dog was chewing on the bone, a large piece about the size of a marble broke off and my dog swallowed it. I examined the bone and discovered there were numerous air bubbles in the casting making the bone weak and susceptible to breaking. I can only hope that the consumed part of this product will pass without any complications. I will not buy this product again and will be going to normal beef bones in the future.

My dog loves to chew plastic things...eyes on teddy bears and plastic lids. Before she was a strong chewer I had given her other Nylabone products and she really liked them so I thought I'd try the durable bone. It has a flavor to it so she will chew on it for long periods of time. She also hasn't chewed plastic things because whenever she goes for them I throw her a durable bone and she chews that instead. I think she likes the flavor.

If your dog isn't an avid chewer Nylabone makes flexible and other flavored bones that come apart easier. My dog is a year old and she just started chewing a lot. She has enjoyed the puppy bones and flexible bones. Now she has graduated to durable.

Nylabone is a great product and I plan on using it for a long time.
