I know these say they are Puppy Dog Treats on the package but my 3 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel just loves them!! I try not to give her too many at once but I usually go through at least one package of them a week. Now the only drawback if you even call it that is that they are much softer than the regular braided treats so they don't last as long.

UPDATE 9/21/11: Please be advised that my original review (those comments listed above) was based on the ORIGINAL Nylabone Toro Puppy Treats. The company has since completely changed the formula and when I gave my dog these new treats she ended up throwing up. At first I thought it was just a "one off" experience but later on I gave one to my ex-wife's dog and they too ended up getting sick and throwing up. Needless to say I will NOT be buying anymore of these so called "puppy treats." Personally I think the company just discontinued the original recipe and are now marketing what used be their "Adult Toro Braid Treats" as "Puppy Treats".

When I heard about a recordable dog doorbell, I thought it would be a neat idea. After using it, I wish I'd gotten one a long time ago. It's was easy to train my dog on. Now we use one by the water bowl too and he pushes it when he's out of water, The button is durable, easy to record on and loud enough to be heard, but not annoying.

We recorded a funny message on this so the dog can let us know if her food or water bowl is empty. She learned in just a couple of to press it to get more food in her bowl. Guests find it very entertaining.

This is a great idea. My dog was facinated by it. However, it doesn't come with directions which is OK but would be nice for my 7 year old. The button broke the second time we tried to record on it. Now we have to get a paperclip to move the button if we want to re-record. The sound quality is very grainy. My dog is trained to go to the backdoor with the word outside. We recorded it several times and it was never very clear.

I will say that the button is nice and big and very sensitive. We still have it but are not using it for the dog currently.

I read some of the other reviews, and I am aware of how some dogs were able to chew through this. Still, I thought I would be able to make this work if I monitor the chewing, but I was wrong. The problem isn't as much that it should be stronger to withstand chewing, but the fact that once it starts to break up, it breaks in chunks, and it loses its ability to retain the treats inside. I am back to the good old spherical treat ball.

I love the size of this pouch because it holds keys in the front and A LOT of treats I have a 55lb 8-month elkhound who NEVER finishes the training treats I put in here and I put poop bags in the bottom as well! The problem with the pouch is that the clasp isn't very substantial and if I hit the pouch with the leash while walking briskly, I can knock it right off my pants! There should probably be two clasps and both more substantial at that I plan to rig up something with a clip just because otherwise I like this pouch, but it's tumbled to the ground far too many times!

This is a very nice treat bag for the money. It easily attaches to a belt loop and the drawstring keeps the pouch closed. It is big enough for a few hours of training with medium/medium-large dog (35 pounds).

I really like this treat pouch for training my puppy. It allows easy access to treats without smelling up my pockets encouraging my dog to climb on me later and find the treats he thinks are there. I really like both the clip to clip it to your waistband and the additional Velcro strap that allows you to keep the pouch in place instead of having it wriggle out of place. The only thing that keeps me from giving it full 5 stars is the fact that the drawstring with its tension closure tends to collapse into the bag when it's open, so I end up grabbing the closure thinking it's a treat, but quickly enough find out it's not... Not a tragedy, just a nuisance. I haven't found a purpose for the tiny Velcro pocket on the front of the bag either but it doesn't take anything away from the bag.

We used to buy these treats for our Australian Shepherd puppy... The packaging and marketing made them seem like a great "premium", "all natural" product from a US-based company, but with chicken and manufacturing based in China. When I emailed them asking about this, they assured me that they had strict quality control standards and the quality was top notch; the only reason for not manufacturing in the US was due to "prohibitive costs". Well, now there is a product recall on virtually all of their products; antibiotic residue not approved for use in the US has been found in their treats.

The New York State Department of Agriculture & Markets (NYSDAM) discovered that a sample of our Dogswell Happy Hips Chicken Breast Jerky contained trace amounts of an antibiotic residue that has not been approved for use in the United States. It is important to note that this antibiotic is accepted for use in other countries (including the European Union), and there is no evidence that products containing trace amounts of this antibiotic pose a health risk for pets or humans.

Dogswell has made the decision to voluntarily withdraw Chicken Breast and Duck Breast jerky under the Breathies, Happy Heart, Happy Hips, Mellow Mut, Shape Up, Veggie Life, Vitality, and Vitakitty brands that are labeled with a "Best Before" date of January 28th, 2015 or any earlier date. No other products are affected.

I know this product has come under scrutiny recently, but my dogs love it. Our older dog is very finicky about his treats and for years has turned his nose up at regular dog biscuits or similar treats. He loves this chicken jerky. We have used the Happy Hips variety as well. This one seems less likely to get dry and brittle (compared to happy hips) and he seems to really love the taste. I like being able to buy this product in the two pack as part of my subscription it saves me a little. While this is by no means a cheap treat, I feel like it is worth it to give my dog something he enjoys that I believe is good for him.

I have a black Toy Poodle that has been chewing on beef rawhide bones practically since the day he was born. However, his tummy always got a little upset from it and I heard the pork is easier for them to digest, so I switched to these Pork Chomps. I've been giving these pork chomp knotz to my Shiba Inu puppy since he was just 3 or 4 months old. He is 11 months old now and these are by far his favorite thing to chew on. Bil Jac Liver Treats for Dogs

My dogs love these treats, and I do buy them occasionally because they are cheap and perched at the check-out counter of our local garden/feed store. But check out the ingredient list-I don't think anyone can feel good about feeding their dog high-fructose corn syrup! Just not the healthiest option-when so many of our dogs are overweight, it seems better to feed them a real liver treat, versus this product which is "made with liver".

My dogs absolutely love Pro-Treat Beef Liver, Freeze Dried 14 Ounce (the larger size packages are more economical). I just feel a lot better about feeding real freeze-dried liver that doesn't have all the extra junk in Bil-Jac liver treats.

Specifically, these treats have chicken "by-products"-that means liquid slaughterhouse run-off and other non-human grade leftovers from the slaughterhouse. UGH! Bil-Jac also includes three preservatives, glycerin (?!), and the corn syrup.

Our lab is 1 year old, and he chews through stuffed animals within seconds. The only toys he can have now are the regular Kong, the Squirrel, and antlers. I came across this at Petco, picked it up at an inflated price, and Eli (our pup), hasn't put it down since I got it almost a week ago. It quickly became his favorite toy. It also keeps him busy for long periods of time, as it's very interactive. I put treats in it, and it keeps him busy. Then, when all the treats are gone, he still loves to chew on it. It's held up for him, (not a lot of things do). Although a bit phallic-looking, I highly recommend.

We bought the small dispensing toy and its great but it is too tough for a small dog. Our dog is now 7 lbs and she can't still take stuff out of the center unless is something really soft, that would brake after a while.. Other than that its great to keep the dog busy for a while.

Received the wishbone in a timely fashion and was excited to try it with our 6mo old lab. I froze a piece of string cheese in it for increased difficulty. He was quite determined and chewed the ends off. He is a large dog and an aggressive chewer. I do not recommend this if your dog likes to chew. I was expecting true KONG rubber, the wishbone is not.

I was a little disappointed in the construction of this toy. My dog seemed to get that the purpose was for her to remove the smaller toys once I stuff them in the house, and she does this sometimes, but most of the time she just chews on the house. This is how I discovered that the bottom panel of the house is just plastic covered in fabric. Given the purpose of a dog toy is to eventually be destroyed I guess this is okay but I worry that she will injest small pieces of the plastic and therefore only encourage her to do it when I'm supervising her. She does chew on the three smaller pieces from time to time as well and they've actually help up pretty good for the past 3 months. The ball from the top of the gingerbread man's hat hasn't even torn off yet so I guess that's good.

We bought this for Santa this Christmas, and as we've discovered, the ball-sized or square type toy is very hard to squeeze through the gingerbread house hole. Also, because there is only one hole, if the ball-type toy gets stuck in the front, it's game over. So we have to keep the square toy outside this toy (not put it back in for him to get it out). But, our dog does like pulling the gingerbread santa and the plush bone out. I think our dog would like this better if it weren't such a tight fit. Try the bees or the squirrels instead, maybe, or in addition.
