My dog is a labradoodle, he's been a super fuzzy eater hence it's difficult to make him put on weight, so may brands I tried, some he doesn't want to even touch it after smelling, some he spit it out, some he likes it but after 2 or 3 times eating the same thing, he doesn't want it anymore.

First off, there's a life time warranty on Mendota leashes. They recommend dog's over 50 lbs use the thicker leash (1/2 inch) which has a safety stitch in it. If anything happens and the leash doesn't work they will replace it and mail it to you for free. I had one leash break and they sent me the next size up (my dog is 48lbs and I had her on the smaller leash) with the safety stitch. No questions asked, just helped me out. Aside from being an awesome company, the leashes are soft on your hands and sturdy. They won't wear your hands down if your dog pulls. They look very nice. Easy to clean. Easy to use. I have this leash in the blue color and in the "woodlands" color. They are very inexpensive and very high quality. I wouldn't recommend any leash over the Mendota products. The seller I went with, curleegirl, was awesome and mailed my order right away. I got it almost next day and the shipping was free. Highly recommend product and seller.

These are expensive, but they last a long time. It's a much better alternative to rawhide which are not easily digestible or other smoked bones as they splinter in our house.The items arrived broken and one was considerably smaller. I am so glad I purchased this bag over other cheaper ones...the magnet can't be beat! Very easy to open just by pushing my fingers in; then when I remove it will usually close back up. No more nose in the bag! I like the full zipper in the back that can easily fit my cell phone in. I opted for the belt (some sites it is sold separately) since I like to wear it lower on my waist. Very easy to slip on & off. Once I'm done with training and/or walk, I just turn the bag upside down over the treat jar & empty the leftovers back in (so they don't dry out). Do these stink? YES. But do they work? ABSOLUTELY!! Our yellow labx lab numbers were so high, this was used as a last result (she'd had been on rymidal, which we were told could have negative effects on her liver over time.) Our Vet had recommended another vetri-science product. After calling the manufacturer, representative suggested this instead. So glad she did. LucyAnn's numbers were reduced at least by half one was over 1,000. Our dog had no problem with the taste in fact the other 5 dogs are jealous when she gets her "treat".

Bella's ALT was 124 just above normal 4 months ago so I started her on these vitamins, 2 vitamins a day as instructed on the package, this was the only dietary modification I made. One month ago we took her levels again and her ALT level was 692, ultrasound negative, bile acid and pancreas studies normal. I wondered maybe the sharp increase ironically could be the liver vitamins so I stopped giving her them, and made no other changes. One month later, today, her levels were down to the 200s. Could it be from the vitamins? I started them and ALT increased, I stopped them and it decreased. Coincidence? I don't know but I am not giving her these vitamins again just to be safe. Before I started her on them I emailed Vetri-science to confirm the glycerin they use in the vitamins is not from China, as glycerin in China is made from a cheap poisonous berry that is treated to deactivate the toxins (many are hepatotoxic toxins). This Chinese glycerin could be the cause of the recent chicken/ham/duck treat fiasco that killed hundreds of dogs by liver failure and kidney failure that the FDA is investigating. These days you MUST check all dog food products made with glycerin and make sure the glycerin is not bought cheap from China. Anyways, vetri-science did not return any of my emails regarding the source of the glycerin they use which I thought was very rude since I spend so much money on their products. Anyone else notice an increase in ALT with these vitamins? I bought two bags of these, thinking it was the same product that I used to buy in different packaging (light blue, with a see-through dog shape against a grass green background). Unfortunately, it was completely not the same thing! These treats were actually like jerky-tough and brittle. I give my dog soft treats because he doesn't chew the damn things, and he choked on these horrible things; I had to toss them out.
Note that the "Zuke's Jerky Naturals" with the other packaging (http://www.amazon.com/Zukes-Jerky-Naturals-Beef/dp/B00008DFPY) have always been moist and soft, and I've never had a problem with those. I suspect that this batch was not new packaging, as I had thought, but very old packaging; these may be the same treats I usually feed my dog, just having sat on a shelf for years. In any case, these were COMPLETELY different treats, and not safe to feed my dog.

I love what the company Zuke's stands for. I like their ingredient list, but their treats always fall short compared to other natural treats. I am a dog trainer, and I buy lots of treats for my own dogs and for students! These treats and their mini naturals are both rather dry and rubbery. They don't break well and don't seem to have a high value for the dogs. Tillman's Tips, Wellness Jerky, Canidae Tid Bits, those are some smelly, soft, easy rip, natural, dog-craze inducing treats! After feeding my dogs what I THOUGHT was a "Premium Brand" food: (Iams Healthy Natural), and paying for that as well, I stumbled upon this website: / and found out how it was actually rated. Much to my sadness, the Iams premium food that I had been paying so much for, was not only one of the WORST foods for my dogs, it was also probably contributing to the downfall of my older dogs health. She was slow and sluggish, and just didn't want to participate. At first, I thought that she was just old, and then I read about what I was feeding her, and her younger sibling. I was Horrified. Think of the movie "Super Size Me" -30 days and nothing but McD's for every meal) Now compare this "movie diet" to a Dogs Diet. If that horrible Fast Food, did that much damage to the director, in a very short amount of time, then just imagine what is a constant diet of poor grade dog food, doing to our furry family members?
That was when I figured out that, I was even paying more for the Iams as well! The Iams has a 17.5 pound bag for $21.87that comes to $43.74 for 35 pounds! Premium Edge? Only $39.99 for a 35 pound bag, and, I don't have to go to a fancy food store either! Thanks to Amazon, it gets delivered for free, by my UPS guy, (he isn't too happy about it, but I remember this, at Christmas time, and really hot days when cold water and a snack is much needed).
Now, if you could actually SEE the difference in my dogs coat, her disposition and energy! Oh my goodness! It changed so much that, I even went so far as to order a book, on how to bake their doggie treats as well! From now on, they get nothing but REAL FOOD. My dogs are like my children, and I would NEVER feed my kids, all of that horrible junk that some of those other foods are made from. In EVERY commercial, they (the dog food companies) spend millions to, lead you to believe that, you are buying the BEST but in reality some of the supermarket brands, are actually BETTER than the Iams food. I'm just upset that I was spending premium money on sub par food.
My advice: look up the brands on that website, look it over, and purchase the BEST food that YOU can afford, for YOUR dogs my shelties don't eat much (some people can't afford premium food but at least get what you CAN afford, by the crude breakdown) For Us,,, this works out to be a win win situation I don't have to go to the store my dogs are eating PHENOMENAL food, and they show it. All for the same price, (if not actually less) than the Iams Healthy Naturals.
I never thought that I would actually SEE the difference in my dogs, just from the food that they are being fed! All it took was, four weeks for my Older dog, to turn back the clock, and start acting like a younger dog my other one that is only four he was already acting like a pup, but at least I know now that, what he is eating, won't start aging him prematurely. I could not be happier, nor can I say enough about this incredible brand of food Just look for "Premium Edge" (in ANY flavor).
UPDATE: after finding out that this brand has had recalls from its plants for things like unsanitary machines, and fungus I switched foods ASAP for the safety of my Pup. I now use Nature's Variety Prairie Dry Dog Food, Chicken Meal & Brown Rice Medley, 30-Pound Bagit is reasonably priced, and I cannot find ANY recalls on the brand my dog loves it very much check out the reviews on the Natures Valley you won't be sorry!

Both of my Miniature Pinchers are allergic to wheat, and one is seriously over weight. (She has a thyroid problem, and is on medication) We had to find a wheat free healthy dog food. My little boy likes "junk" doggie food generally but this "premium" brand is one he just LOVES. He poops less since there's less filler and his coat has a nice silky sheen to it that is easier to brush. All in all, a great food for the price.I don't think there is a better quality low fat weight management dog food out there, My 11 year old Rottweiler/Lab was diagnosed with pancreatitis so he requires a low fat diet of 10% or lower fat. This is hard to find in any dry dog food but Premium Edge Weight Management II (not I) fills the bill with 8/10% fat. The ingredients in this food are really good. I have asked my dog and he likes it and gobbles it down but he doesn't love it. The only problem that I have is the kibble itself. It seems to look very dry and there is a small amount kibble crushed into powder on the bottom of the bag. All-in-all I still don't think the quality and price can be beaten.Premium Edge Healthy Weight is a great dog food. It has the right blend of healthy ingredients that my dog loves. It also helps with weight control.

These rawhides are the only ones my dog will actually spend the time and effort on. Other rawhides, including Dingo's non-beefy ones, are usually just left alone by him. I would recommended that you have a area for your dog to eat these though, unlike one of the other reviewers I've found that these can mark lightly colored carpets/rugs. I've tried this twice, on Ceser wet food, Hills lamb & rice, & Spoiled Sophie won't touch it. I find it hard to believe the rave reviews of this product, though likely these others dogs are strictly on dry food diet, so anything to flavor it, smells like liver as this does, could cause another dog to scarf it down? Very disssppointed as trying to get my dog back on dry food after creating a spoiled food, treat, monster, who won't eat the dry food anymore. Will robasbly senf it bavck if possible.
