We have mostly toy breed dogs and they go nuts over this flavor. The only downside is we have to break the biscuit into smaller bits and they're a bit hard to break evenly. I'm pretty sure Nutro has a small breed treat, it was just that these were more economical at the time we purchased them. Overall, I'd definitely buy again

I have a 60 pound Labrador / Husky mix who's coat has been a little dry lately. I was looking for some good treats to give her that would help keep her coat soft, fluffy and healthy and it seemed as though these treats were the best choice. The fish oil is also good for her heart.When I first got the product, I noticed the bag was good quality didn't seem like a thin piece of plastic, but something that would keep the treats fresh. However, the resealable top is a bit hard to actually reseal.
To me, these treats actually smell pretty delicious; my boyfriend, however, can't stand them because he hates the smell of fish.
My dog's idea? YUM! haha
She gobbles them up in no time, and now every time I open the pantry door she expects to get another one!
The recommended feeding amount for a dog her size is 3 4 biscuits per day, so I estimate this bag will be done in about a month. Considering similar treats though, I believe this is the best option, because you get more for your money. Other treats, like Zuke's, Pet Natural's and Wild Alaska, are very small. So for a big dog like mine, she really gets to enjoy them and not just swallow them whole.
They are a bit crunchy, so expect some crumbs. (Though if your dog is like mine they will only last half a second on the floor!) These treats are also healthy for your dog at only 33 calories per biscuit!
Overall, I think these were a great buy, and I'm sure my dog agrees!

I got these because my foster dog, a 70-lb female chocolate lab, had really dry skin when she came to us. Her coat had dandruff on it and she was shedding a lot. Part of this was probably her diet, so we switched to a better brand of food, but I think these treats--along with Alaskan Natural Salmon Oil Salmon Oil Coatcare for Dogs , 32-Ounce Bottle--helped a ton. Her coat is now shiny and she looks great.My permanent dog, a 50-lb yellow lab mix, also loves these treats. I've tried many brands and don't get me wrong, she eats them all! But this is the only one that I can use to lure her into her crate at night. I say "treat" and show her this one, and she goes right in. She must love them! The foster dog does as well. Highly recommend these, and I like giving them a treat that has some bigger purpose (beyond being a treat). Nice for skin and coat!

These biscuits smell yummy but my little yorkies won't eat them unless I break them up. I thought the size would keep them busy but these don't. However, the ingredients are very good for my dogs. I will buy more but in a smaller size. My Yorkies are spoiled to smaller treats.

I own a doggie daycare and boarding facility. I keep these stocked in our lobby all the time... it is everyone's favorite. Dogs love them and the owner's like the size of them... not too big and not too small. They also have a nice texture... again, not to hard and not too soft and the dogs seem to like the peanut butter taste. Very reasonably priced for a good quality product.

I was thoroughly shocked by the price and contents of the Blue Buffalo Wilderness Dog Jerky Treats package. $9.99 is too much for 3.5 ounces. I opened the package and there were about 4 square pieces and the rest crumbs. Not only that the description didn't indicate 3.5 ounces. Needless to say I won't be buying this product for my ShihTzu again way too expensive for what you get.

Review on these is real simple very high quality treats which are actually made in the US and none of these gimmicks like "tested in the US" or "made under US supervision" or any of that silly stuff. There are two negatives the pieces are small and frequently I get bags which are not much more than a bag of "bits". (They seem to crumble easily.) Secondly they are REALLY expensive. These were really hard when I got them. If your dog is good at chewing at their treats then it shouldn't be a problem. Mine, however, can be over zealous. They would end up swallowing large chunks of the hard treats and have to hack them up.

Name was a bit of shocker when my wife first brought them home lambs lungs, really? but the dog likes them, they are low in fat and calories, hig in protein, have no obnoxious odor, and they keep/travel well. They are also pricey depending on the seller, anywhere from $20-30 per pound so you kind of wonder if steak wouldn't be a more cost effective treat. But can't envision myself taking the dog for a walk or run with a pocket full of raw steak. So I recommend you go with the Baa-Baas. Probably some other brands that are less expensive but not likely much difference in price.

Our chihuahua loves these treats however, they are NOT made in the USA as one reviewer stated they are and that's reason why I bought these because I thought they were a USA product. I checked the company's website and they say their treats ARE made in China but tested/inspected in the USA. It is very difficult to find a small rawhide or wrap treat made in the USA apparently. Also, the price of them I would say worth around $6 if they cost more don't get them. Unfortunately, I paid $9 for mine. Our dog does love them so we will continue with them but they aren't really worth the hype.

The previous reviewer is obviously unfamiliar with the benefits of feeding freeze dried and raw or low processed foods. Most dogs cannot easily digest kibble and those that seem to don't get all the nutrients they are meant to have. Consider living on a diet of fast food versus cooking at home with whole foods. Your pets are meant to kill, scavange and eat whole foods, NOT ultra processed kibble! Yes it is more expensive then kibble....but it is so worth it. I have a dog with chronic allergies and digestive problems, the only thing that has helped is keeping his diet as natural as possible and supplimenting with digestive enzymes and an essential fatty acid. Please don't read the previous review and dismiss the wonderful benefits of freeze dried raw diets. Do your research, then decide which food is best for your dog.

These stars are small, so you can give 10-15 of those in one training session. I tried to train our dog with "Ceaser dog treats", it just made our puppy hyper. If you compare the ingredients, you will know why. Little stars has just basic food ingredients without any preservatives and food coloring. Did LOTS of research online for dog carriers and there is a lot of garbage out there. This company seems to have the best made products. For my 2 year Norwich Terrier, Teddy, who weighs 16 lbs, this is the answer. Was searching for something for Winter hikes in the woods when the snow is too deep for his stubby little legs and great for our other dog. The sling carrier is an arm/neck killer for a dog his weight for any length of time which we also have. And the kangaroo pouch is just too open and pulled forward for his weight as well. Had read the other reviews prior to buying and definitely think this is dog specific. Teddy just so happens to enjoy being held in this position so it is somewhat natural for him. In truth, have not hiked with him in it yet, but when I put him in it and walked around the house and then asked my husband what he looked like...he was sleeping:) So I don't think a problem especially if the choice is deep snow!
Addendum: January 22, 2013. Finally got to try out and am really satisfied. It definitely takes some negotiating finding his stubby little legs but once he's in he does not complain! It is the most comfortable carrying position I've come across. We hiked in the woods in the snow for a while and then when it was too much for him I picked him up and maneuvered him into the carrier. I think it will get easier as we both get more used to it. I think dogs with spindly long legs may not like and would get cold as well.

I bought this to use on my weekend walks and hikes with my 13 lb Shih Tzu mix rescue dog. I read all of the reviews and decided to try it anyway figuring it was better than carrying him in my arms. I used it around the house a few times to make sure my dog was comfortable with it and all went well. I like all of the adjustable tabs on both sides of the pack and the padded shoulder straps were great. I just returned from a hiking trip with my husband and dog in the PA mountains. I used the pack during a 1/2 day hike and it worked great. My dog was comfortable and so was I even with the dog pack and a backpack. I had several people stop us on the trail to check out my dog and the pack. Everyone thought I had a baby until they looked closer and saw it was my dog. One little boy even asked me "Why are you wearing a dog?" This pack with make it possible for me and my husband to include our dog in all of our outdoor activities without worrying about him getting tired. I did use the chest strap from my backpack to run through my dogs harness to keep him extra secure because he did flop forward a bit in the pack. I thought this would be awesome. first one arrived and one of the straps was unstitched from the body of the bag. Sent it back immediately. They were great in getting me a new one but the second was loose in the same spot as the first. I don't think the construction is of very high quality. Previously, I said "The upper part of the carrier does not lay close to my chest." I now solved the problem. I clip her harness to the part of the carrier that is on my chest. I ordered this and checked the measurements. My 11 pound Shih Tzu Maltese mix does not fit properly. He is too long, the holes for the legs are horribly positioned and it is poorly designed overall. His front legs don't even remotely line up with where the holes are so I have to loosen them until the point of having them on is defeated. The holes at the bottom for his back legs are spaced awkwardly and it is a huge hassle to get his legs into them. There are no straps that run across the middle of the carrier which causes the dog to fall forward and gives the sensation of him constantly on the verge of falling out (that combined with his body being 6 inches away from mine gives him no security). Someone else mentioned their dog falling forward in a review so I tried putting a small rolled up shirt in front of him to make him flush with my body. Unfortunately it didn't work. So, in conclusion I strongly suggest that you do not purchase this product. I would return it if I could. Overall... I would never suggest this carrier.

For something that costs as much as it does (~20), this thing did not last even one day for my dog. I've purchased shed antlers for him before that are around the same size and they lasted a couple weeks. Needless to say, I was disappointed with this product.My experience as per the product description:
"This dog chew is long lasting, they don't have a soft interior like bones so dogs can chew"
--Nope. As soon as I gave this to my dog I could tell this was not going to last long. The antler immediately became very soft where my dog started chewing on it and finished it off within 1 day.
"Measures 6-inch length; large size for 40-70-pound dogs"
--Yes, the antler was around 6-inches in length, but my dog is around 25 lbs. and it's the right size for him.

I bought my first package thru warehouse deals to see if my goldens would like these. Well, like isn't the word; they tried to inhale these! These have become their favorite treat. I ended up having to do the subscribe and save Amazon option on these as they could eat these daily but I try to give them maybe two a week due to the cost. With my 3 year old golden, these have cleaned his teeth perfectly. My other one isn't a year old yet so his teeth have no tartar build up and hopefully by giving him these, there won't be any. I got in a habit of giving them each one when I have to go out for awhile and cannot take them. If I give them each one, I can get out the door and out the driveway before they have a chance to look out the door at me making me feel guilty. It probably takes them about 2 or 3 minutes to woof these down.

I purchased this toy after reading all the positive reviews. My 9 month old pitbull started chewing pieces off of her black kong and I needed something even stronger. Unfortunately, this football isn't it. She was able to chew off little pieces the first day I gave it to her. I am glad that only small pieces come off, but two weeks later, she has chewed through to where the treats are held in place. She does choose to chew on this over her new kong, so she definitely likes it. If your dog can take pieces out of the black kong, this toy isn't going to hold up either. If your dog can't get through the kong, I would definitely try this.

My 45-lb. dog didn't care much for this toy until I stuck a wolf-size Nylabone Edible (Nylabone Healthy Edibles Regular Size Beef Flavored Dog Bone Chew) in the opening. Suddenly, he gives it the attention previously reserved for rawhide. The football has a very strong grip, and it was difficult for me to wedge the treat all the way in there, but by the same token, the dog can't get it out easily. He bit off the treat until it was flush with the toy surface and has spent the past hour chomping on and licking the football. The second-rate biscuits I stuck in the toy at first didn't get this reaction, so it's got to be a really tasty treat. We have only had this toy for two days; will update if it turns out to be disappointing.EDIT: Three and a half months later, the combination of Busy Buddy football + wolf-size Nylabone Durable (Durable Chew Original Flavor ' Wolf (5.25')) is my dog's favorite chew toy. The football provides a "handle" for him to grip with his paws while he gnaws on the end of the Nylabone. Previously, he didn't much like the Nylabone. The material of the football shows some wear & tear at the thin part between the two slots, but it doesn't look like it will break any time soon.

My Border Collie mix has chewed up two red Kongs, so it's difficult for me to find her a toy that she likes but can't destroy. This fits the bill perfectly on both counts. It's durable and she's always carrying it around with her -I've taken to calling her Peyton Manning!The only thing to be careful with is that it's very heavy -a smaller dog might have trouble carrying it around (she's about 50 lbs.).

I have a 18 month old yellow lab that LOVES to chew! We have searched endlessly for toys that will last longer than a day and other than the kong toys this football holds up the best! I've had this toy for a few weeks now, and my bullmastiff is still loving it. It's quite heavy and solid and I snuggle little treats in it to keep him occupied while I'm at work. I think the mfgr was expecting an entire doggie bone to go into the football, but there's no chance of that--the rubber is too hard. It stands up well to solid chewing.
