I have to buy these in bulk because my dog loves them. They are her favorite treat and they are an easy chew. If your dog is an aggressive chewer they won't last long, but if your dog is a moderate chewer they will love them. They aren't greasy and they are really healthy. It's also easy to break up the treat if you think it's too long for them. I buy 30 of these every two months for my dog.

My dog LOVES these treats, is spoiled, and gets one at bedtime daily. However, I have noticed that within the last few months the treats are getting smaller and smaller. They are advertised as being 10-12 inches long. In the last 2 shipments I have about 1/3 to 1/2 of the case of treats as small as 6-7 inches. They cost the same. Has anyone else noticed this? I love Merrick and do not want to see their commitment to quality suffer.

this is thr 3rd or 4th box of texas taffy. this box had a strange odor when bridget chewed them and they splintered which they never did previously. i hope that amazon will forward these comments to merricks,as i will, because i really do want to buy them for bridget again. i did notice that this box contained "taffies" which were much

thinner than the other boxes were.

After reading the Amer. Vet. Med. Assoc.'s warning to veterinarian's that some jerky products made in China were causing kidney failure and fanconi-like syndrome in dogs, I have been looking for alternate chewies for my dogs made in the USA. That isn't easy as almost all dog treats seem to be made in China. I love my dogs too much to risk their health by buying dog treats made in China. So I was thrilled to discover the Merrick dog treatsall made in the USA. My dogs love these Merrick treats and best of all I know they are SAFE for them.

My dog lovelove-loves these, there is nothing in life she wants more, she gets a lot of different treats but these are the ones she enjoys most. She a small beagle, loves them so much she finishes them off in a matter of minutes. Quite a bit quicker than some of the visitors to our house do a black lab and bulldog, they tend to enjoy them at a slower pace, but seem to enjoy them as much.

I was a little skeptical, in part because of the low price. You know the old adage, 'You get what you pay for.' Well, you get more than you pay for with this product. Or maybe the others are just over priced. I have a 15 year old barn cat. He's been active his whole life. He's a large cat. I think he's a Manx. His previous owner says he is part bobcat, and paid accordingly for him. He lives outside. I noticed he was slowing down. Wasnt hopping into the back of the truck anymore, and wasn't defending his territory from other cats that were showing up to eat his cans of Friskies and Taste of the Wild.

After about a week on Jointcare he was his old self. He follows me all over the pasture, 'helps' with lessons, hops in the car for a ride up to the barn. Jointcare is now part of the daily routine. He gets a tablet morning and night. He loves the tablets. They must taste pretty good to kitties.

I bought this for my 10 year old female cat. She's pretty big and when she would get up from sleeping, I noticed she would limp like it hurt. Since I started giving her one of these a day she has stopped the limping! I put in in her bowl with her dry food and she goes right for it. I will continue to buy this from Amazon!

One of my cats who is 14 years old is fat and has joint problems. He's fat because he never WAS a playful cat and mostly just layed around; he's more of a lover. He has a hard time getting up and walking. I'm trying to go 'Green' with my cats and stay away from vets and their prescription drugs. I've tried other EXPENSIVE products that worked, but who can afford to pay $30.00 or more every month, especially in a multiple cat home. That's me. So I searched around and found Hartz Joint Care, costing much less. Hartz is a good brand, so I tried it on him. It really works! After about a week of taking this product twice a day, he was able to move around much better and doesn't seem to be in as much pain. He's even able to do a "fast scootch" through the hallway or kitchen. It's funny to watch. I do recommend this product as I found that you don't always have to spend a lot of money to get a good product that works as well as the expensive brands.

My Cat is not a picky eater. She's more of a pig cat and gobbles down her food. Fortunately She is a small cat because when I opened this up she literally jumped up on me and started to eat it out of the container. If she were a large cat she would have knocked me over. I have to hide this and now only bring it out when she has had a particularly distressing day. These are special treats that my cat loves, loves, loves.

This product is very hard to find locally and online. My dogs go crazy for these treats and I must admit they do smell good. Northwest Naturals is just as high value as a hot dog for my dogs. The disadvantage is that they are more expensive than a hot dog, but the upside is that they are much more healthy for them. This is the only treat they always want.

Lamb Raw Rewards is a high quality product. My dog loves them. If they cost just a bit less, I'd use it as her primary food.

Since she's a poor eater, I use these as healthy treats. They crumble easily as a topping on her regular food to encourage her to eat.

The Ratatouille croissants were my rat's very favorite treats, BUT ecotrition seems to have replaced these with a different kind. I can no longer find the Ratatouille croissants in stores anymore, and can only find the new kind. They come in a teal colored bag, and don't have the Ratatouille affiliation. The formula is completely different, and they do not taste anything like the old ones. The new ones are very hard, dark and flavorless, unlike the sweet, buttery old recipe. If you can find the ones in the picture, buy them up, because the new kind are lousy.

This was purchased off the Amazon website from an independant seller (DEF Home Products fast shipping).

This was for a small puppy (Chihuahua), so the review will reflect this.

Packaging The item was folded flat and wrapped in clear plastic bag. This was shipped inside a FedEx cardboard box (making note of this if it is going to be a present).

Item Quality The material that was used was durable, the color (redish pink) was perfect for my daughter, the zipper pull came off the first few times of using the zipper (you have to pull hard to zip it up) although this was fixed by putting the zipper pull back in place and using pliers to secure it better to the zipper.

Item Usability This is not to replace a crate when traveling long distances in a vehicle, this is best suited for carrying the dog out in public. The bottom has a hard piece that you insert, this keeps the bottom shape while carrying, but the sides do not having anything to keep them steady (the material does a good job of keeping them upright) so you can squueze the dog if your not careful.

Value Compared to the carriers from local pet retail stores, this was an excellent price and most carriers I saw locally where canvas type material, I liked the heavy material of this item.

Size While I am not an expert on dog carrier size needs, I would suggest that only smaller dogs use this.

Item Accessories This item has a pocket on the side of the carrier and a small bag that you can attach to the carrier or strap (this carrier has standard handles and. To carry a few small treats and couple of plastic bags for waste we found the attached small bag to be more useful than the side pocket (for both space available and ease of open/closing).

I am satisfied with this product, I would recommend to others to purchase.

Disclaimer: This review is actually for the medium-sized faux crocodile pattern pet carrier in black.

Before buying this product, I was reading through a lot of the reviews to get an idea about what the general concerns were. To be honest, I love this product. I've had no zipper problems, the bag does a decent job of maintaining its shape, and it looks great!

I have a 7.5 lbs mini-dachshund and he loves it in there. The minute I opened the bag up, he ran straight in! Note that the bag is a little smaller than what the traditional definition of "medium" is. My little boy would be cramped if he didn't sleep like a doughnut.

If people mean this as a permanent home for their pet or as a bag to use for toting their furry friend around a lot, I would recommend getting something a little more durable. But if your objective is to have something functionable and fashionable, this is the way to go.

We have the medium version of this toy and it honestly is the best toy we've had for our two Brittany spaniels. The best thing about this , is you can actually clean it inside out! Hooray! It has a slit all the way around the inner side which allows you to stick treats or peanut butter inside and also let's you clean it.
