I bought these, thinking they were a company I'd purchased before, have discovered it is not. I am very disappointed at how thin they are and how quickly my 12 lb maltese/shitzu mix gobbles through them. Next time I need to make sure I order "thick". Even so, it seems these are pretty thin to be called "medium". But for the reasonable price, she will be getting more than one a day, most likely, to keep her entertained. BUT they are low odor, which is important to me. For dogs who aren't into major chewing they should be just fine. My little girl makes it her job to start and finish the thing in one sitting, which is good for me to get my work done. But if it only takes her half an hour and there she is...... YIKES......

I have a Jack Russell and each summer she goes through a four to six week scratching spree. It is maddening. Throughout the daytime and throughout the night she scratches away and she skin becomes a bright tomato red. I usually end up taking her to the vet, but this summer I wanted to try other products that might help her.
One vet told me her condition was due to allergies and another told me it was due to a skin bacteria. Thinking it was more likely she had allergies, I started with 8 in 1 Excel Allergy Relief for Dogs, 36 Count Bottle and they worked for a couple of days. Her redness went down but that was she became too sleepy to scratch. After a week, the effects wore off entirely and the pills have no impact on her. I moved on to Sergeant's Vetscription 8-Ounce Antimicrobial Medicated Shampoo.
The active ingredient in this shampoo is Benzalkonium Chloride. No other ingredients are listed. I have a couple of other products by this manufacturer and I've found ingredient disclosure to be somewhat limiting.
I wasn't entirely happy with this product. My dog's redness went down a little for a few hours and she was scratching up a storm by the next day. I bathed her again and she was content for four hours and then scratching all over. While bathing your dog each day is not recommended by most vets, I've been giving my dog a bath every day and have also been using Sergeant's Vetscription 4-Ounce Hydrocortisone Spray Dog and Cat. The bathing and the hydrocortisone spray seem to be helping.
I live in the midwest and would note for budget shoppers that I found this antimicrobial shampoo at my local grocer for 5.25 and the Sergeant's Vetscription 4-Ounce Hydrocortisone Spray Dog and Cat for 4.25 at my local Dollar General. Through my research of products, I've seen that many individuals turn to benadene. I've seen Sergeant's Vetscription 4-Ounce Benadene Hot Spot Skin Remedy Dog at Dollar General for 3.25. So before spending a bundle on products, you might see if there is a suitable product during your trip to the grocery or discount store.

I emailed the company to inquire about ingredients due to my dog's allergies. The company had three different unhelpful individuals call me to tell me that disclosing any information about ingredients was sharing proprietary information and they outright refused to tell me based on a list of allergies if my dog could use their product. i have a 65lb boxer and a 21lb beagle shih tzu mix and our boxer has sensitive skin due to food allergies and our mixd dog has very sensitive skin flea allergy and just sensitive all around. she had moist dermatitis and had scabs from scrathing and allgeries. i cut her hair when i got this product then bathed her with it and afterwards put sulfodene medicated liquid directly on her scabbed areas and the next day her scabs were gone and she smelled better and was scratching significantly less then prior to the use of this shampoo. i would 1000% recommend this product for anyone who has dogs with any kind of skin issues it works great. but i do recommend that you also use a medicated liquid also like the one i mentioned earlier SULFODENE. although the shampoos medicated its good to use a medicated liquid or ointment/lotion daily to aid in healing.Read Best Reviews of Sergeant's Vetscription 8-Ounce Antimicrobial Medicated Shampoo Dog Here

My dog is allergic to everything and will break out all over his skin because of it. This is the first shampoo that has really helped to keep his skin looking normal! I am very upset that Target stopped carrying it but am thankful for amazon!

My dogs, one Yorkie-Shih Tzu mix and one Yorkie-Poodle mix, love Milk Bones Gravy Bones Biscuits better than any other treat. I've been having trouble finding the Dentley's compressed rawhide chews at the stores lately. Also, when I find them you usually get about 6 for $15. I bought 10 of these (to balance the shipping cost) expecting to get some poor quality chews. I was very surprised to open the box and find compressed rawhide chews easily equal to the quality of the Dentley's if not better. On top of that, you just can't beat the price. Even with the shipping cost I got almost twice as many as I would have got of the brand name for the same price.
I have a 75 pound Aussie Shepard/Labrador and a 90 pound Bernese Mountain dog that loves to chew and these are great. The Berner will go through one in about a day, but I've not found anything that she can't, so this is great.

3 out of 5 of the crazy wiener crew are allergic to you average proteins. (beef, pork...etc) We have to use hypoallergenic treats and I have found that this is a wonderful option. The ingredients are limited so we avoid breakouts, the price is very fair and because my dogs are small and each get 1/2 per serving*, they last a long time...especially in this big box! The cookies are easy to break and hold up being shuffled around in the treat jar. There is no overt fishy smell. These are a great option for your pets.(**don't forget that any treats are high in calories...it's equal to you eating a candy bar each time you give one!)

This Apple Crisp Treat ordered through Amazon was a mess. It was ordered at the same time as the Banana Crisp Treat. The banana arrived in nice size pieces while the apple was diminished to a few nice size pieces on top, then mostly crumbs for the rest of the cup like the bottom of a potato chip bag. I thought maybe it was a shipping problem so I sent it back and got another but it was just the same. My dogs love these treats. I buy them at my local dog place and buy the peanut butter and yogurt ones.. Really i use these as training treats and every time i brush my dogs hair. All i have to do is pick up the brush and they both come running to my lap all while staring at the bag of drops i have sitting on my side table because they know i always give them some. My one year old whippet, Bean, absolutely LOVES these treats. I used to get him apple treats that were wrapped with chicken jerky, but once I found out about the Chinese made chicken jerky health scare I stopped buying them. I couldn't find any similar treats made in the US, so when I found these I thought my pup might like them . The apples are from Chile, but I don't mind that. I think he likes these even more than the chicken wrapped ones! I used to buy him jerky wrapped banana treats as well and he liked those, so I also purchased the Vegitopia banana treats. For some reason he won't them at all (which is the first time that's ever happened with a treat) so I only get the apple kind now. I used to love giving my dog (shiba inu) these chews. They lasted for hours and I thought they were the best chew ever. I read that it was safe from numerous sites, including this one. However my dog eventually learned to take big chunks off the chew. I didn't think much of it until we started to realize the dog was getting sick and throwing up. Her vomit was yellowish and she was constipated. I started to notice chunks of "hard stuff" in her poo. Then she started vomiting up chunks of the chew. I examined the chunks from the vomit carefully and noticed that it was indeed the Himalayan Dog Chew but it looked like it has been in her GI track for days. Thankfully, she didn't have a full intestinal blockage just a partial but still not an experience I would wish on any dog lover.
If you're going to give your dog these chews then watch them carefully and make sure they don't bite off chunks. If they do then take it away immediately. It's just not worth it.

I have a 7 month old cavapoo, he is about 19 pounds. I have searched high and low for a safe long lasting chew. I was at a pet expo and decided to give this product a try. OMG my dog loves these. It takes him at the least 3 or 4 hours to complete sometimes it seems most of the day. I occasionally take it away after he's been at it for several hours to give him a break, and then give it back to him later. My husky/GSD puppy loves her himalayan chews (we call it her "cheese"). She gets great pleasure gnawing on them, and a large one will last her a week or so. They are supposed to be digestible, but I do find 'bits' in her feces. They don't appear harmful though, and have a smokey scent (not unpleasant). I first found these through bestbullysticks.com, but now buy them wherever I can find the best price as they are rather expensive for what they are (boiled milk and lime juice).Two paws up for the cheese!

I have a Rhodesian/Shepherd mix (about 50 lbs at 7 mo's) and was looking for a longer lasting chew that she actually liked and would stay at for a decent length of time. She isn't interested in the Nylabones that nearly everyone suggested to me or even really antlers or regular bones, but she can go through a 12 in bully stick, or any of those pig skin / sweet potato wrap sticks in an hour or less, and I can't give her one of those every day (because it affects her bowels...yuck, ok but true for many dogs out there i'm sure). I read a lot about these chews, and even though they are pricey, decided to give them a shot. She loves them, and has been working on the first one for the last 4 days (I give it to her for about an hour each day then take it away). The first one should last another few days, and I'm interested to see how it puffs up when I microwave it after it gets too small for her! Definitely worth the cost for something longer lasting that holds her interest and gets her chewing fix in for the day...I find she simply doesn't get into quite as much mischief if she gets her daily chew in!
