I stumbled across these while looking for a solution for the yellow spots on our lawn caused by our dog. She really likes them actually, and the yellow spotting has gone completely! I will warn you they stink! as in smell really strong, we keep them in a ziplock bag in their package, that aside they do exactly as they say, and the dog thinks its getting a treat, making it easier than pills.

We have three dogs, different breeds and different stages in life. Two of them will eat these biscuits, and one wouldn't touch them on a three day fast. Our Newfoundland was mistreated as a pup and her joints never developed properly. As a result she has/ had luxating patellas (the whole leg would just pop out of the joint when she played) We put her on the pills first and she took them long enough that we could see improvement before she stopped eating them. My cats are not at all interested in items sprayed with this stuff. On the other hand, anything I put dried catnip on, they love, so I know they're fans of catnip. I would not recommend this spray.

I don't get any kind of smell that other people have reviewed and said. When I spray something with it, my cat will come rub against it for a little while (2 minutes at best) and then he is totally uninterested. I think that's because it doesn't smell anymore. I can't use it to spray toys or anything else because he's just not interested. I feel like I wasted my money.

This product smells nothing like catnip. It's quite an offsetting sent for me as well as my cat. My cat lovessss the smell of catnip but when i spray this product he just walks away. I wouldn't recommend this to anybody.

Our little Bolognese puppy is a constant chewer. When she's chewing on something taboo, we've found it most effective to distract or divert her with something acceptable like a toy or the puppy teething ring. Gabby loves the teething ring and will chew on it for hours at a time. When she has to be in her crate, the teething ring is great company and comfort for her.

I like the ingredients of the ring and knowing that there's nothing in it that will harm her. So far we've had no staining problems of our all white dog's mouth from the ring. My only concern is the accumulation of bacteria on what for our dog is a very long lasting chew. After a couple weeks I'll discard the old ring and give her a new one. We follow the same procedure with rawhide and Booda chews for our older dog.

For us the teething ring has been great, and I recommend it.

I purchased this teething Ring for my lab puppy, she ate it in less than 10 minutes. Product is nice but does not last with large breed puppies, especially heavy chewers.

Well the puppy loved it extremely well and at 9 weeks, my border collie/german shepherd pup ate it in less than a day! I think the product is great, but unfortunately as another reviewer noticed... I did not see that there is a 5 pack available for $4.99 which is about a $1.00 a bone compaired to the one pack I got for $6.00! =( Not very competative of you Amazon. I am disappointed in the price. =( At least she enjoyed the short treat.

I was about to subscribe to a monthly shipment of these treat since my dogs love them so much but as I was writing this review, I saw the word "animal digest" in the ingredients.

If your wondering what "animal digest" is, like I was, here's what I found per AAFCO (The Assoc of Animal Feed Control); A cooked-down broth made from unspecified parts of unspecified animals. Any kind of animal can be included: "4-D animals" (dead, diseased, disabled, or dying prior to slaughter), goats, pigs, horses, RATS, roadkill, restaurant and supermarket refuse, and even animals EUTHANIZED at SHELTERS (including DOGS!!) Surprising how many pet products use "animal digest".

These are the top 9 ingredients listed on the package; beefhide, oats, brown rice, maltodextrins, rye flour, sugar gelatin, wheat flour, corn starch, animal digest.

I'd give this product 5 stars and pay twice as much if they would use something safer than animal digest.

I started buying Busy Bones for my dog when he was a puppy in 2009. I liked the fact that this product was completely digestible and it truly satisfied his chewing needs. Then all of a sudden I could find them nowhere! I decided to try Amazon and found them being sold at a better price, and now I can even have them automatically sent about every three or four months. I feed them to him about every other day and he still loves them and they're good for his teeth. It is also very convenient that I can rely on their availability through Amazon and don't have to search them out at various stores.

This product definitely soothed my 5-year-old Newfoundland's ears. She had redness, odor, inflammation, itchiness, sensitivity, and black gunk in her ears. Nothing else seemed to work for very long. I've been using this product for about 3 days (once daily) and I HAVE DEFINITELY NOTICED AN IMMEDIATE DIFFERENCE IN THE REDNESS AND ODOR. It soothes her ears....she doesn't cry when I touch her ears now, and within 5 minutes of my first use the redness in her ears had instantly decreased dramatically. I'm not sure if this actually CLEANS her ears....but it definitely soothes them. Be careful not to overdo it, though...a little wax in the ears is actually healthy.

I recommend this product to anyone who wants to SOOTHE their dog's ear problems....I'm still not sure if this actually cleans them or makes a positive permanent difference, but it definitely soothes the ears.

This does not have a solid top as shown in the picture. It has a large hole for predrilled aquariums offset in the top, on the rear left 5.5"x23", which would prohibit putting any tank that doesn't match the dimensions of the stand. I couldn't find any other pictures of this cabinet, let alone any that show this large hole.

Description states "large rear ports for electrical and filtration routing." There is only one 1.5" hole in the rear of the cabinet, which I assume is for electrical access. So in order to plumb my tank to the sump (as my tank is drilled on the back, not underneath), I'm going to have to create a cutout for plumbing access. Deep Blue's website also describes the presence of rear access ports.

This is the 36"x18" stand, and the front appearance is more like the Series 2 cabinet except solid black, with two smaller doors about 1' wide, and a 1' wide permanent panel in between, making access to the sump more difficult than the picture would lead you to believe.

There is indeed a door on the left side of the cabinet to get the sump in, which is good because a decent size sump clearly wouldn't fit through the dinky little front doors.

Cabinet appears sturdy and seems to have a good finish, but because I need to modify it, I haven't been able to use it yet.

Pretty disappointed that I need to do significant modifications on a product supposedly designed for use with a sump.

I have e-mailed Deep Blue; we'll see if they change their stock photos. If I had a smaller tank I would have to send the sucker back as it would be unusable with the hole on the top. The current picture is blatantly inaccurate.

It is 28" high, or 29" including the little feet (which are not visible in the picture either not sure whether this is a good addition or not).

Jolly Pets Monster Mouth Dog Toy

I have two of these in the 4" size for my 22lb and 28lb shetland sheepdogs. Obviously, the mouth opening doesn't work for kibble, the kibble just easily dumps right out. Larger treats wedged in there are a little better but if the treats are easy to break apart with your hands, as soon as your dog chomps down on the toy those treats will break apart and fall right out. Super hard treats aren't as easy to remove but still they'll get them out in 5 minutes or so. I've also wedged dried sweet potato strips in there and the shelties only took a few minutes to get those out.

What this toy seems best at is smearing peanut butter or yogurt on the inside. Doing this is easy for me, you just squeeze the wide sides of the toy to make the mouth open wider (makes it easy to clean it out afterwards if you need to). Anyway, dogs do best with something smeared on the inside, they work at it for a good long while, and if you want to make it even longer lasting for them, smear the goodie stuff on the inside and stick the toy in the freezer for 30 minutes to an hour. The hardened pb or yogurt really makes the dogs work longer at it.

I've owned these toys for a year and they're covered in puncture marks from the shelties chomping down on them, but they haven't torn off any chunks or anything like that. (They never tear at their toys... if your dog takes great joy in tearing something apart to get at the treat inside, this toy might not hold up well. It's not as durable as a Kong toy.)

My two golden retrievers are pretty destructive with toys. I had purchased one of these in the smaller, 3 inch size, for my younger dog earlier this year when she was a pup. It lasted pretty well, but was finally doomed by sharp puppy teeth gnawing off the edges of the mouth opening trying to get at the peanut butter I smeared inside the "mouth". Chunks of the "lips" were missing so it went into the trash. Both dogs had enjoyed the toy so I tried to find another locally, but no luck.

When Amazon recently started carrying them I ordered another, this time in the larger size. So far, so good. The 4" size has the added benefit of being large enough to put a small dog biscuit inside for a little variety instead of peanut butter all the time.

My dog really enjoys playing with this toy. It took him a few days to figure out how to get the treats, but now he can do it. This toy will keep him busy for a while which I love. I like the divider in it so I can put 2 different kinds of treats in it too.

The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because it already has tons of teeth marks and cracks and I've only had it for 2 weeks! But that also means it's getting a lot of use. I might just have to buy a second one soon.

My bull terrier Sugar lives for these toys, she doesn't go anywhere without one, so when she lost one of them I had to order another one. I'm probably going to order another one or two for Christmas for her. They're very durable, she's a VERY strong dog and she plays with it for hours! Definitely a great toy!

First off don't be scared by the "Product of China" label.. The duck used comes from a breed of domesticated duck used primarily for egg and meat production. It was bred from the Mallard in China.

Yes America produces Pekin Duck too, but have not done a good job at dehydrating the meats in bulk for jerky uses, only for culinary usage and it usually isn't cheap or easy to find.

95% of duck meat consumed in the United States is Pekin duck, and who knows what percentage of that is actually our own US product.

Our friendly Asian brothers have been farming Pekin Duck since the days of the 5 Dynasty, that's about 1100yrs ago or so.

In 1873 nine ducks were exported from China to Long Island, New York and there are currently from what I can see only a couple of towns in Indiana that handle that predominantly for the US markets.

Not all dogs are meant to handle waterfowl, but if they do and you don't like this product then go get a hunting license to make your own duck jerky.

I actually ordered this for my cat! She loves,loves duck jerky! Then, it became hard to find because of the recalls.So, I ordered this brand for her. She did love it, and it smelled so good. My 70-pound puppy was tearing the house apart and chewing everything he could get his paws on (I have a 20 year old Bose radio, and I had to buy so many replacement remotes that Bose cancelled my orders and accused me of being an unauthorized retailer!). This seems to be made of a type of artificial bone that crumbles into little round pieces. Perfect if your dogs get bleeding gums/other injuries from regular bones. Would have given this product a 4 star but they did not warn me that the bone was re-engineered or changed in some artificial manner so that it breaks off in these tiny little round bits. Their description reads femur but it's unlike any femur I have ever purchased over the years. Lack of cut gums is a good thing but I am concerned about what is in that bone that makes it crumble like that. The enticement for dogs is the gel filling which they just love.
