These treats are our dog's absolute favorite, and we couldn't always find them in the grocery store. The monthly automatic delivery is GREAT, because we can always be sure she has plenty whenever she wants them! She's 9 years old and we found these treats about 5-6 years ago. Various other "treats" we've given her have caused her to gain weight, but that's not a concern with these. She always licks the chicken flavor off first, and then chews on/eats the remaining "rawhide." Besides the apparent great taste (strictly from watching her devour the chicken-flavored coating NO personal experience, really!), an added bonus is the fact that her vet says her teeth are in great shape for her age, so evidently the chewing really does the trick!!

I'm not sure my dog could live without these treats. They disappeared for a while and came back with a different name--but they are the same they always were. Except they are hard to find. I think my dog would do anything to have her "chewee". She just lives for them! Not more than once a day though--per vet's advice--she is 12.5 years old!!

Our standard poodle is smart, but she doesn't understand, "Sorry, but the grocery store was out of "chewies." She does not try to swallow them whole and they do not stain the carpet, and she is thrilled every time earns one.
