Dog food and pet product companies can be very misleading in their claims and advertising. I tend to be a skeptic and over analyze products. So, I researched this company before I bought these treats. From what I can tell, they seem to be a trustworthy company. They clam that the animals are sourced locally (either from the company's home state of Minnesota or from farms in neighboring states). It appears they also act as a source, processing, and distribution plant for outside brands/private labels rather than as a company that manufactures strictly under their own brand name. (I don't know enough about the industry to know the pros and cons if any regarding this business model. I just thought that was an interesting side note).

Bottom line:

My brussels griffon really enjoys these treats and in typical small breed form, he can be very picky. I plan on buying more treats from this company based on their apparent reputability.

This product is great if you have a small dog who loves to chew. Our Doxons think they are the best. They are small pieces that can be chewed and eaten by small mouths. Howeber, they can stain a light colored carpet. Also a mid-size greedy dog vould try to swallow them whole and potentially choke. A friend's Corgi does this. I have never had a chew that so many dogs liked. Only an older dog who has lost many of his teeth has no real desire for these treats, which is unfortunate since the glucosamine in them could be beneficial for him. Try and see how happy they make your canine companion!
