This is by far the best shampoo I have ever used on my dog. It lathers just enough to clean thoroughly, yet never drying out the skin. It rinses very easily and does not continue to lather as other shampoos sometimes do. It smells awesome and lasts for days. I would highly recommend this shampoo for any four legged family member!

Our dog tends to get itchy after being bathed so I was looking around for something that would be gentle and moisturizing. She only needs a bath a few times a year so I really didn't want to spend the money on some of the more expensive (but really good!) shampoos out there like Tropiclean and Earthbath. I found this at Wal-Mart and though I'm not a big fan of the Hartz brand, I gave it a go.I chose the Extra Gentle formula (listed here as "Chamomile") and it says it contains chamomile and aloe. I used it for the first time today and it smells nice but not overpowering. I'd say its similar to the scent of baby shampoo. It lathered up alright and washed away nicely. It has made her fur nice and soft and very shiny, without being greasy. She doesn't seem itchy at all. I'm really happy with this purchase.
