the dog loves choo hooves, but often some of them can be odor offensive while she is chewing them. she also loves to bring one to bed with us, so sometimes that requires the fan to be on in order to send the odor on out the door so as not to linger. NOT ANY MORE, these smoked hooves are great. not only does the dog love them more, but they truly smell like a smoldering campfire. so i watch tv, she chews and i imagine the warmth of a nice smokey fire close by. no more fans as i LOVE a good campfire. ooooppppsss... now the neighbor dog is hooked too!! sharing in the neighborhood. going to order 3 more bags. the 'humane society no kill shelter' will love these for the pups on the hill.

I bought the smoked hooves by accident. I meant to buy the natural kind. My dogs love both....but I would choose natural hooves over the smoked hooves because after a while the whole house....and the dogs, start to smell like beef jerky. That might be charming for the first 30 minutes....but after that it makes me feel sick to my stomach.

I give these 3 stars because the dogs do love them. They are great for puppies (this may save your chair legs from chew damage) and older dogs who are beyond the chewing age, love them too. They last a lot longer than other natural chews. They are safe...just discard them if they get small enough to be a choke hazard. The only reason the hooves do not get 5 stars is because the Smokey smell is not something I want stinking up my house.

These are well made and you get a bunch for your money. They also smell much better than the plain, which is why we bought them. The plain smells like cow manure, these smell like smoked pig dog treats.

Never will buy a pigs ear ever again! These last so long!!

Regular hooves smell like the muddy area around a barn when the dogs chew them. These smokey ones smell so much better and are definitely preferred over the regular for all the chewers in my house!

Will defintely repurchase and in larger quantites if available.

I have bought the natural non smoked hooves for years, our dobe, vizsla, and GSP love them, but not one of the dogs would go near these, should return them, maybe other dogs like them but not ours, although shipping was quick and produce was packaged nicely.
