I have a female collie and refresh her training regularly. She is very picky about her dog treats (thinks she's a person!) She loves these as much as she likes cooked hot dog treats, fresh chicken or other fresh meat bits, so they are what I prefer to use and much, much easier and less messy than real meat! Even for a collie, for use as a training treat, I cut them in half. It is important that a training reward be easily gulped in one bite and not distract from the training and these fit the bill. Recently she saw where I stowed them after a training session and managed to retrieve them from a significant height so that I found the completely empty bag the next morning! That's how much she liked them and may be the reason they were sold out at Walmart today when I went to resupply!

My dog likes them alright, but he's not crazy about them. They also make him very, very thirsty! He drinks so much water when he eats the treats and he ends up having to go potty way too much. I don't like having to take my dog out 7 times in 2 hours, and still have him have accidents in the house! This only happens when I feed them the treats.
