We're very picky with our dogs' food, but we got caught up in the jerky recalls with tainted food from China. One of our dogs seemed lethargic until we stopped giving him that tainted jerky.

We wanted something that they would love, and we tried these Innova bars. They love them more than their biscuits, which they had been getting since they were puppies. Amazon's price is good, and delivery is fast. They stay fresh in this bag, or you can take them out and put them in a sealed jar.

From now on, we ONLY buy food made from pet food companies. No "high-end" brands that are actually owned by giant consumer product companies. Check who owns your "high-end" brand--you'd be surprised. They probably don't have your dogs' best interests at heart, but a lot of the smaller companies do. All they make is pet food. Not that they can't have trouble. Some reputable makers have had recalls at times, but you'll be doing your dogs a favor by staying with Innova and companies like it that only make pet food.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE April 19, 2013 Natura Pet Products is voluntarily expanding its March 29, 2013 recall of dry pet foods because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The expanded recall now includes all dry pet food products and treats with expiration dates prior to and including March 24, 2014. Please see the table below for details of affected products.

Salmonella can affect animals eating the products and there is risk to humans from handling contaminated pet products, especially if they have not thoroughly washed their hands after having contact with the products or any surfaces exposed to these products.
