It has sunflower seeds and those I do not want for my cockatiels as they are high fat and I don't want fat birds. Otherwise if you want to put weight on your birds, they will eat this stuff. Mine were weaned to pellets but had no problem knowing what to do with this food.

This mix includes a lot of seed but also cereal grains and chunky pellets. Not too many sunflower seeds, a plus. I have three cockatiels and they all love it. They devour it all but seem especially to enjoy the pellets, which is surprising since they have ignored other pelleted foods. I will continue to order this.
