I love these pill treats, they keep me from buying hot dogs and cutting them up for their pills. My mother taught me this trick years ago and it works. This also works with hard cookies. I place the treats in a large Ziploc bag (or cookie jar with a tight lid) along with a slice of white bread. The moisture from the bread seeps into the cookies or pill treats, and within a day, the bread is hard and crusty, but the pill treats (or cookies) become soft. Don't know how it works, but it does. So I've never had any problems with them, yes, they can be hard and break when you get them, this trick works.

You can also buy them from Costco in the 60 count regular ones, but buying from Amazon and having them delivered right to your door is so much easier than fighting the crowds at Costco.

These are crap. They break and crumble into tiny pieces. Don't buy. They are crap. Can't even use it to hold a pill. You try to close it and it breaks. Hard and dry

My Dog LOVES these things. He goes completely nuts as soon as he sees me open the bag. I have actually used them as a good boy treat as he loves them so much; like when he has to have something bad done like a bath or other grooming (which he utterly hates) I bribe him with Pill Treats and he acts like the best dog ever.

They smell good too; not like other doggie treats that smell kind of unnatural. So I recommend these for anyone that has a dog that does not like taking pills and those that just want a treat for the dog that he/she can go nuts over.

I've purchase these before and they worked out fine. This time I received a bag of pill treats that was full of crumbled and broken pieces and a big blob of flattened melted together treats. Unusable and I paid almost $18 for 60 treats. I called the manufacturer number on the bag and they refused to replace the product. The expiration date is still 19 months away, so I know the product is fresh.

My dog Bubba would rate this a "5 star" but since the product was somewhat dry and crumbled it was hard to work with.

I need to say a BIG THANK YOU to amazon patron, who suggested that that I put a slice of bread in a zip lock with some of the pill pockets and the moisture would transfer to the pill pockets and make them easy to work with.

Bubba prefers this brand over Greenie's by far!!!
