No doubt my GSD could chew this toy apart if given the opportunity, but as an interactive toy that comes out when I want to play with him and is put up when we're done, it's excellent. It's a nice variation on ball play and is heavier than a real stick so is easier to throw farther for fetching (and I assume is easier on my dog's teeth.) It's long enough (just barely) for me to get both hands on the ends and use it as a tug toy, as well. This is great for helping my dog practice control in biting the toy -any accidental teeth-to-hand contact stops the game immediately, so he's quickly learned to be careful about aiming his bite on the toy, even in mid-play excitement. It's holding up unscathed to several weeks now of serious tugging in the big German jaws. Works great for us!

I was very excited to purchase this item as my dog adores sticks and chew bones. I thought it was a great combination of his joys. I was highly disappointed to find he could chew through the product after the second bite! This product makes NO claims to be indestructible because it is easily destructible. Very disappointed with this product for its price and quality.

Another JW success! I think if you have a dog, like mine, that really enjoys carrying around sticks proudly outside, this will be a winner. My Golden thinks stick-like toys are the best thing ever, and enjoys proudly putting them in his mouth, and occasionally hitting his Aussie brother on the head with them. Great job with this toy it's holding up well!
