No way is this as tough as the black Kong. Our black Kongs are chewed and beat up, but still intact. The large blue Kong was 1/3 chewed up and off in 15 minutes by by our Lab mix. Stick with the black.

I fill it with canned dog food then top off with a little peanut butter (too much with upset my lab's belly) then freeze. Its a time consuming treat for when he's crated. The longer I'll be the bigger the stuffed Kong I provide him

Our organization supports deployed military and military working dogs. The dogs are different and have different tastes for the consistency of their Kongs. My dog isn't big on toys but I wanted something to keep her occupied during the day while I was busy besides lying around. Filled it with treats and peanut butter and it worked on that thing for hours and now it's her favorite toy! The treats made it interesting enough that when I throw it, even without treats, she'll go after it and toss it around herself. Should've gotten one sooner and it's very durable. I'm sure this product will last for years unless she looses it. If she does I'll be sure to order another!

I purchased this King because it was advertised for dogs that are chewers. It lasted a few days more than the regular red King, but my 8 month old PUPPY (Bassett) was able to chew it apart in 3 days.
