After trying a couple other high-end puppy dog foods, I am happy to stay with this brand. My German shepherd puppy's excessive scratching and runny stools have diminished and/or gone away. He has a high food drive and always gobbles up the portions given to him.

I have used this for the past year to feed my two toy yorkies. Yorkies are known for bad teeth and this has cut down on their much needed cleanings as well as their bad breath. The pieces are small so its easy for them to chew. It has a high nutritional value which is important. I raise Australian Shepherd and Collie puppies. This is the only food I will use for my puppies! I recommend it to all of my puppies new families. It is a great price for such a high quality dog food. I was having some weight and skin issues before. After switching all of my dogs to Chicken Soup my weight and skin issues have disappeared. Even my picky eater loves this food. Feeding times were not too exciting around here but when I made the switch my dogs are super excited at feeding time. They love this food. Before some would leave food in their dishes but not any more. I had tried several dog foods at a variety of prices but this has worked the best and after over a year my dogs are still excited about it.Just a couple of side notes. Dogs would have a lot of moisture in their diets in the wild. The dry food of course takes the moisture out. We mix a large spoonful of canned with the dry plus warm water. We let is soak just a few minutes before feeding. Just to put some of the much needed moisture back into their food. The water and canned food makes a kind of gravy. They love it and it has really helped with dry skin.
Some dog foods claim meat is their first ingredient. However the first 5 are the most important. If the other 4 of the top 5 ingredients are wheat, corn, rice, brewer's rice.... What really is the first ingredient? Grain! All are in the grain family. Dogs are not cows and they are not vegetarians. (as one poor quality dog food states in their ad) By breaking up into different grains a dog food can claim that the first ingredient is meat when actually it has a small amount of meat in it.
Vets are not usually schooled in dog nutrition. BEWARE of the dog food they sell. It is very poor quality at a high price which the vet receives a high commission from.
Some dogs have been diagnosed as having skin allergies. From fleas or other things outside. If your dog receives a flea treatment each month it is not fleas. Most skin allergies come from within and not outside sources. Changing to a dog food without the grains will 9 out of 10 times fix your problem. Especially leaving out corn and wheat.

Fact Over 80% of dogs hips and elbow problems in older age are caused by poor nutrition during the ages of 8 weeks and 18 months. Avoid these problems with this quality dog food.I've been feeding my corgi puppy this food since my breeder has recommended. These are quality food for your puppy without breaking a bank. Comparing to other foods in your grocery, these will be more healthy, giving your puppy a proper stool. They also have great ingredients and have a good track record for being high quality food for your dog.
I usually feed her this mostly, but mix it up with the wet food from time to time to spice up my corgi's food. She loved it.

Tried the expensive Blue, which gave my dog constipation. This dog food is perfect for my chocolate miniature schnauzer. This breed is known for stomach sensitivities like hemorrhagic gastroenteritis (look it up). Started slowly mixing last of blue with the chicken soup, and not a single problem!
