My dog LOVES these bones. I haven't used them long enough to see if they will have a positive effect on tartar on his teeth, but breaking these bones down requires a lot of gnawing which in turn should be effective for tartar control. I love that they contain minimal ingredients and I know EXACTLY what my do is eating when I give him one of these bones.

My dog loves these and they last a long time. His breath smells lovely too. Only downside is they ar. Bit messy as the dog softens them. Paws and floor get gummy.I am extremely selective about what my dog can eat. I feed him a diet of home-made food consisting of a variety of meats, grains, and veggies ALWAYS all natural (& organic when I can), with vitamins and essential oil supplements. I wanted to also give him a dental chew to add to his menu but organic was the only option so I naturally chose Terrabone. My dog LOVES these dental chews! He literally starts dancing the minute I reach for the bag. It's organic which makes me happy and it's delicious which makes him happy, so essentially it's a win-win! This is too good a product to settle for anything inferior or less healthy for your dog.I have two dogs & if they could do back flips, they would, to get one of these. Usually they just need to look cute! LOL. I think it's the cinnamon.My groomer turned me on to these for teeth cleaning. My 2 shih-tzu's LOVE them! They go nuts when I reach for the bag. one a day is recommended, however, at this price x 2, that can't happen. This is the best price on line, even cheaper if you sign up for auto delivery.
