There are two of the same looking items on the market that when seen from the distance or as seen here on amazon look the same. The problem being is one is about 40% sunflower seeds and the other is 0% sunflower seeds. Sunflower seeds are OK as a treat but not as a steady diet for tiels. I thought I was on to a good deal with this product, but it is the high sunflower seed one and as I care about my tiels health I will not be buying this product again. This also explains why it is cheaper as sunflowers are cheap.

My cockatiels won't eat about a third of the things that are in this mix (or any other easy-to-find mix); they toss out at least 2/3 of the sunflowers and the safflower seeds, and whatever the green and orange squares are get ignored.

I purchased this item a while back and only opened it today. The bag had a hole in the bottom and bird seed was everywhere. Not a large problem but an inconvienance.
