I purchased this for my German Shorthaired Pointer who is in need of constant attention and loves to chew anything and everything. In the past we had bought moose antlers which were amazing, they occupied her and she loved them, we would have to take them from her as she would be fixated with the Moose antler for long lengths of time. We then tried deer antlers and she wasn't too interested maybe played with them for 10-15 minutes at a time and we would need to put peanut butter on them. So, we decided to try elk. Well I quickly learned the elk antler is pretty similar to the deer antler but since these are more like sticks they easily get under the fridge, stove, shelving etc. which makes the dog loose interest and retrieving a challenge at times. We will stick with the moose antlers for my dog.

We ordered 3 of these for our dogs for Christmas and they were a great size... approximately 7-8 inches each. The pointed ends of the rack are more durable than the wider, flatter "base" sections of the rack. The flatter piece dissolved down to a nub quickly (in about a month) but there are three dogs chewing on it and with elk being the softest of the antlers (vs. deer or moose) that is to be expected... the two pointed ones are still going strong. We would definitely order these again!Buy Medium Elk Dog Chew Treat - Top Dog Chews Now
I ordered these for my Lab, recommended by friend ,I hoped she would love them since they cost $20 each.. Jessie absolutely loved them and I'm sure they will last a long time. They don't smell and seem to last a very long time, which makes these a great chew for a chewy lab. Toys are expensive and only last 20 min max, they last for a week or 2 ea.Read Best Reviews of Medium Elk Dog Chew Treat - Top Dog Chews Here
I believe the size I got has to be about 5 inchs :( Either way my pitbull still chews on it here and there. She's not crazy about it though so that's a bummer. No interest what-so-ever from our Border Collie or German Shorthair. Maybe other people's dogs love them but neither of ours want anything to do with them.
