When I first got my Chi puppy, I had a few pet store staff initially turn their nose on this brand. Thinking they were more in the know than my aggressive research, I digressed and purchased another leading brand with higher protein content. That food was great but not necessarily for my little teacup who began itching and losing her hair.
With a clean bill of health from the Vet, I switched to Royal Canin Chihuahua puppy formula and my little girl not only loves it but her coat is coming back!! my Vet said this was a good brand and noted Royal Canin actually DOES scientific research.
