My cat loves this food, but this particular flavor, beef and salmon, is a bit strong when it comes to the smell. I had to wash my hands more than once to get the smell entirely off. Now the problem is that my cat reeks of fish, she smells like a walking tuna sandwich. If you're okay with that, by all means get it, but I'm going to avoid this one in the future because I can't stand her smelling like this all the time.

After feeding my recently-acquired cat a case of Wellness Turkey and Salmon without issue, I fully expected her to love the Beef and Salmon as much. Unfortunately, she loved only the first three cans and won't touch it now without adding some dry food to it. Hopefully, she will still eat the Turkey and Salmon without any problems.

My cat isn't usually too picky about food, but she loathes this stuff. She will nibble on it then walk around howling and crying until I give her something else.

The food itself smells worse than any other cat food I've encountered. It is very soupy and disgusting-looking.

Also, the "grain free" thing is misleading. It may be grain free but still contains lots of carbohydrate fillers. It's just overpriced, apparently terrible-tasting corporate cat food.

I bought the Beef and Salmon flavor and the date is pretty fresh (over a year left on the freshness date).

Having read other recent reviews, it looks like this food varies widely. Some say cats love it, and others say that the cat won't go near it and that it is watery. It appears that the quality is variable. I would not be surprised if some of the food is unsafe to eat, if they are having quality issues at the factory.

My cat devours the Beef and Salmon as soon as I set it out! I previously ordered the Chicken recipe before which she liked initially but now she much rather prefers the Beef and Salmon.

I've been feeding my cats wellness since I weaned the stray kitten and got the shelter kitten, and they seem to like all the flavours plenty but I've been alternating this and the straight chicken stuff for the past few weeks and they've basically stopped eating the chicken stuff, I guess saving space for this stuff instead.
