My cats love these treats. I have 3 cats and have been buying this product for years. The last 3 packages have been inundated with spiky, hard pieces that would choke my cats. I break them up and place the hard ones aside. Between the 3 bags 3/4 of it was wasted. I'm going to have to find another company if it doesn't change. These were really below expectations.

My cat that we adopted is the pickiest treat eater you will ever know. We've tried at least 6 different brands and many various of said brands. Eventually we ended up giving them away to our friends because she wouldn't eat them. Then we found Whole Life and she fell in love with it! I got a free sample of them from Whole Life and after I gave her a nibble she went fishing for the bag. When the bag was empty she ended up chewing through the bag just to get to the powder at the bottom. Definately worth the price if you're at your wits end at trying to treat your cat.We were looking for a healthy treat for our cat Zeus...one that he would actually eat and enjoy and was not cut with junk. He LOVES the Freeze Dried Chicken Breast!! Our daughter has Zeus in Boston and is gone much of the day and most evenings so she places small pieces of the chunks of chicken in the Cat Amazing Puzzle Box before she leaves and Zeus is kept busy hunting and playing and enjoying his catch. A really super product.I have been buying this product for several years and have always been delighted with it, or rather, my cat and my dog have always been delighted with it! I have trained my cat to come inside when I call her, by giving her a piece of chicken when she responds!! It looks just like a piece of chicken breast that has been sliced and it is easy to break it into any size you want for your pet. I read 1 negative review recently, so I looked at other products to find something comparable. Then I remembered that you usually get what you pay for! This product is not cheap, but it IS excellent. So I ordered another bag, as usual. I was surprised when I opened the bag to find these small, rectangular shaped pieces of very hard, and hard to break chicken. I tried feeding it to my pets, but found it was hard to break into smaller pieces and they are just too big for my cat's mouth. I decided to give the company a call to let them know that the product I received was NOT their normal product. I have to say this company has THE BESTS customer service I have received in a LONG, long time. I called after hours and received a call back first thing the next morning from Jennifer. She was very pleasant, concerned and appreciative of my call to let them know about my experience. She asked me for the manufacture date on the package, which confirmed a "bad batch" (my words). I will continue to pay a little more to get a GREAT treat for my pets!! All I have to do is open the bag, and they come running! Thank you, Whole Life, for making this product.My cats go nuts when they hear me open the bag and they love it-a wonderful training aid too. Recommended
