This is a shaved product and I was expecting a treat that you would hand to your dog. Lots of thin little pieces. Rusty likes it, but it's a mess to feed.

I bought these for my 2 small dogs. they like small soft treats so I thought these would be perfect. they are about the size of a postage stamp and very thin. I got through about 1/3 of the bag and the rest of the treats just fell apart and turned to jerky flakes. I ended up using the rest sprinkled on their food because it was no longer treat sized. My dogs loved the treats but I won't buy them again.

I use treats for obedience and agility classes. I need a treat that is not crunchy, but chewy and capable of breaking up into small bites. I typically cut the treats up into pea sized bits. With these, my hands are covered in grease (they use fish oil) and I don't like using it for that reason.

As the owner of small dogs, I am always on the lookout for nutritious yet tasty soft treats that I can use as training treats. These definitely fit the bill. They are small, but can also be torn into even smaller pieces when I want to reward with a tiny treat that won't take time to chew.
