they are like dehydrated chips for dogs...my dogs weren't thrilled with the taste, only one dog would eat. they are very lightweight and a little pricey for the contents.Our Lab breeder recommended Dr. Mercola's gentle dental bones and showed me the product. When I ordered the gentle dental bones, I checked to see if there were other Dr. Mercola products available and ordered the Beef & Bison Bites too. Very high quality products, a bit expensive but we dole them out and the pups are benefiting.
