Very well made doggie blanket. The snaps around the belly make it much easier to use than a raincoat we purchased which used elastic straps (and were just a mess when it pulled the hair on the dog's legs). The high collar is a PLUS, as most jackets and items with hoods don't seem to work (the hoods never seem to be long enough to reach the head). We did purchase the XL size for our medium size dog and it works out great. Good purchase; good company!

This was definitely truth in advertising. The sample photo (for the quilted purple one) looks almost exactly the same as what the coat looks like on my dog. My dog's back is a little longer, but it still comes down to where her tail begins, which is better since her tail scoops upward. The stated recommendation for this size is 10-14 inches from start of tail to base of neck (just above the shoulder blades). Those are my dog's dimensions, so the perfect fit tells me the size chart for this item is correct.It seems to be keeping my dog warm in the foggy early morning hours, or around the house when I don't turn on the heat. I bought another jacket for her from the same manufacturer (this one a rain slicker) and it fit well over this one, so if it is cold and rainy out she will still be in good shape. Overall I'm perfectly happy with this purchase and will buy more from this same maker, knowing the sizing works appropriately for my dog. I'll upload a photo of the size chart in a minute.
