My 4 month old 25 lb Shep/Lab puppy tore through this "long lasting" Nylabone in about 15 minutes. Granted, this is the first Nylabone that has kept his attention for 15 minutes. It's a great 15 minute snack, but not something that would occupy him longer than that.
I recently purchased an elk antler chew from the pet store for $8, and that kept his attention for 30 minutes. He didn't rip it apart (yet), he just lost interest. I'm sure I can pull it out in a couple of days to occupy him for another 30 minutes. The antler chews can be purchased on Amazon as well.She LOVED it, but kept choking on it. She is a seven week black lab/pit mix who weighs about 12 lbs. Will buy again when she is older as I suspect she was just too young.My 6 month old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel loves these. It entertains her while we have our dinner. We let her have half at atime since they are large and she is small!
