These pig ear strips are more like pig ear chunks. My dog has found them hard to eat as it is more like a bone than thin strips I have gotten from other suppliers. If you are looking for a thin strip easy to eat treat, I would not order these as they are more like bones.

I like that you can get 10 lbs of pig ear product for $70; at the time of this review, that makes it about 30% less than full-ear products. However, the pieces contained within are thick and chunky and may be difficult for dogs with smaller mouths to deal with. Some of the pieces are about as girthy as rawhide or bones. Also, there are a good amount of "crumbs" so you'll have to deal with those as well careful, they'll make a mess if you don't open the package carefully.But as far as the quality of the product itself, my dog seems to be picky about them. He wasn't able to deal with the product as-received, so I had to cut them up into smaller pieces. But he turns his nose up at some of these. I've noticed after cutting some of the pieces seem greasy/oily.
Anyway, bottom line: would not purchase again, nor recommend to anyone else.

This is by far the best deal on pig ears I've ever seen. Its eight one pound bags of ears. My dog ate one and didn't finish it. He prefers his other treats. He has eaten pig ears before and loved them but these are very greasy. They have minimal processing do there's a ton of lard/fat/grease in the ear. They're not flattened and cleaned so the chunk of lard stuck on the ear is quite substantial. But even when I shuck it out (yes, like an oyster!) he still won't eat them. If he gets really excited he might start to chew it but never eats it. So now I have 80 pounds of pig ears to give away. He eats all kinds of treatsrawhide, chicken jerky, buffalo, venison, rabbit, even fake treats like beggin strips, dog biscuits (milkbone, nutro, etc). So I'm not sure why he doesn't like these pig ears. Ill have to try the other pig ears he had before and see if he just lost a taste for pig ears in general or if these in particular are not tasty.My dogs love the size of these rawhide treats & I was surprised at how many came in the pack for such a good price. Don't waste your money. My dogs (Labradors) love pigs ears, but they won't mess with these, my female ate one and she vomited, that was it for her. Now I have ten pounds of rotting greasy euchk!
