I was hesitant at first to buy these on line for my Lab. I read other reviews and they mentioned how big the ears were and how much their pet loved them. I ordered 10 bags. All were pretty much the same size allowing my Lab to enjoy them longer than the other brand I bought. Rawhide doesn't compare to these cow ears. Every bag was consistant in size, fresh and crisp. I recommend these ears to anyone with dogs 40 lbs. or larger.

When I got my dog he was eating everything in the house and getting sick from it. I decided to give him rawhide treats of all kinds as it was better than shoes, slippers, the fly swat, and a washrag. However, I discovered cow ears and really like them. They are thin and I think much better for a doggy stomach than thick rawhide. Though I do like the super big rawhide bones, because they get played with more than eaten. I didn't give this product 5 stars because there are deep smoked cow ears that are available and my dog prefers the super smoked ones. Of course the advantage of the white cow ears is that they last longer and that's a good thing.

The ears were fine but they did lack the curly knot on the ends. This is how my little shih-tzu's hold them to chew. They were clean and large! I would say great for larger breeds. The price was good so I can't complain. I like the fact they are not coated with anything. They did not fade on the carpet or smell. So I would recommend them just be ready to cut for the smaller breeds.

I have senior dogs who's ability to chew 'treats' is diminishing. These are great for them; very clean, thin, and no odor. Almost all of the large, tough base cartilage has been removed. Plus, these are big enough that you can actually cut them in half ( with garden pruners) so that 1 ear makes 2 chewies. SSSHHHH, don't tell my girls that I am doing this! They also come very promptly.
