Cosequin is great for dogs that are getting older. I have one dog with hip dysplasia and she doesn't limp around when I give her this stuff. This is a relatively inexpensive product that is extremely good for young and old dogs hips and joints. I know of a rather famous wildlife manager that special ordered a similar product for his dog. This version is as good, but considerably less expensive. The product is liver flavored, so I say the all important word to our eleven month old pup in the morning, "snack" the tail wag increases rapidly and he goes to his bowl and gets the snack and his firest feeding. My Chihuahua has bad knees and had a hard time getting around. I started giving her these pills about three years ago and what a difference! She still limps a little but can now run around when we take our other dog to an open field to run. She gets half a pill a day and since she won't eat it like a treat, I crush it up and add it to her food every morning.
