Our Newfoundland was mistreated as a pup and her joints never developed properly. As a result she has/ had luxating patellas (the whole leg would just pop out of the joint when she played) We put her on the pills first and she took them long enough that we could see improvement before she stopped eating them. We decided to try the soft chews instead she loves them. We can even use it as a treat.
