The concept for this wheel is great, but the construction is mostly particleboard rather than solid wood. I am therefore hesitant to give it any kind of good cleaning in hot water, and it is not dishwasher safe. It's important to regularly clean something your dog is slobbering all over, and I'll have a hard time with this item.

The wheel was the easiest of the four I purchased for my shepherd. I guess it is a good one for starting out your dog on one of the puzzles.

I bought this toy to entertain my two smarty pants dogs and they love it! It beats just giving them treats. It keeps then occupied for a while. The price was also great compared to similar toys.

Ace enjoys nuzzling his way to the treats but uses his teeth to move the puzzle pieces. Since the toy is made of fiberboard the edges are wearing rather quickly. Also the spaces for treats should be a little deeper. I have to be careful of the size goodies need to be or the sliders won't close.

I got this for my dog to get his treats out of (we do this every evening) and give him a little something to do while he's getting them... He loves it and goes to town on it until he gets every single treat out of it. The only thing I don't like about it is it's made of cardboard (although heavy) and sometimes he bites at the puzzle to get a piece to move out of the way of his treat, therefore chewing it up a little. Overall I think this product will hold up well, however. And I wish it took him a little longer to complete the task.
