Although these are pricing and not available in the local pet stores, they are worth a try if you have a fussy dog when it comes to taking their meds. It a great alternative to pill pockets, change of pace so to speak when you have gone through, canned dog food, forcing the med, peanut butter etc.

Flavor-doh is the most amazing product I have ever used! I learned about it through my vet. I was having a terrible time getting my pomeranian to take his meds. This is simply amazing! I use the handle of a spoon, scoop out a small portion and simply roll it in my hands with the meds. The meds end up rolled in a neat little ball! He absolutely loves taking his meds now! I was thrilled to find I could order this online,which is much less of a hassle and less expensive too! He loves the chicken. My vet ran out of it and I tried beef, no go. I have used this for several years. I used to dread pill time, now he looks forward to it! He actually sits by the kitchen island every morning waiting for his "treat"!!!!! My dog loved it, but it is a very small amount in the jar. If your dog doesn't take many pills, that would be OK. My dog takes Rx and supplements 3 times a day. That adds up to be a lot of treating going on. Have switched to crunchy peanut butter.

I have been using this product successfully for about a year. This particular order was defective. Dough was very thin (watery). It will not form a cover for pills and it sticks to my hand.
