We have a Japanese spitz and a cavalier king charles. The vet said they're both allergic to poultry, and then recently the spitz developed problems with beef and grains as well. We were told to put them on a sensitive stomach venison diet. Unfortunately, it's hard to find such a thing: even if the main protein is venison or rabbit, the food will often contain either wheat, eggs, or chicken fat as a preservative. When we finally found a kibble that met all the requirements, our dogs wouldn't eat it.

Grandma Lucy to the rescue! This food meets all the requirements, and they seem to really like it. We mix it half-and-half with the kibble (to keep their teeth strong) and they eat the kibble fine now, too. Best of all, there're no more tummy issues of any sort.

I have tried 3 different types of Dehydrated dog food each have been good, but dogs lost interest after a week. So far Grandma Lucy's products have held their interest. They smell better prepared then most of my dinners and my finky eater actually comes back to the kitchen to ask for more
