When I first bought this food it was for a dog who had severe skin allergies, to the point that in autumn she would rub her skin raw over the itch. I had no expectations this food would help but tried it anyway. It took about six months for the results to show, but after that she never experienced her autumn allergies again. When we added another dog to our house he ate this food by default. After we lost the allergic dog, the other dog had to have ACL surgery on both hind legs. We switched to healthy mobility, and he doesn't seem to be bothered by the arthritis the vet said would come on early. Overall, the quality of these products has been very good. Our newly acquired cat eats Science Diet too.
