I have both the large and small versions of this toy. My dog loves this toy, although he is very food driven and loves any toy that has to do with treats. So far these have been durable (but my dog is not a crazy chewer). I will say the rope gets pretty slimy if the treats you put in have any sort of moisture but if that doesn't bother you I bet it just adds more 'flavor/scent' to the toy. Only complaint is that my dog knows what to do and gets the treats out in no time. Just slightly better than throwing them on the floor :)

I have a fun loving beagle that loves to chew if given a toy. In less than 30 mins, he's worked out all the treats I've stuffed into the pods, and un did the ends of the rope, shredded the rope and slipped the pods off. The rope did not stand a chance but the pods stayed unscathed even after all that. For the price, I did expect more from the overall toy not just parts of it.
