I have used this stuff on MYSELF, and what I got was COMPLETE RELIEF from scalp and other skin itching for the first time in FORTY YEARS! Now I use it at least twice a week. What I did was search Amazon and every other place I could think of looking for a shampoo that contains the exact ingredients this stuff contains. Apparently, manufacturers of "people" shampoos do NOT want us to use what actually WORKS, because then they would be out of business! I'm ordering three more bottles....and I might even use some of it on my DOG!

I have spent thousands of dollars at the vet trying to cure the severe allergy issue for my dog.The Prednisone helps,but it is dangerous to use long term.
I set out to find the root cause and cure and this is what I found works:
This product helps...you MUST shampoo your pet twice per week in order to get the dander off and get relief. Lather it up good in your hands. put all over and leave on a few minutes before washing off. Keep soap away from face and ears, use the low setting on a hand held shower massage , and use just slighlty warm water. Dip a washcloth in warm waterto clean the face.
Daily, and after dog park or walks,make a bowl that is filled with water, 2 tsp. epson salt, 1 tsp bleach. Dip their paws in it and then do a quick rinse. This will work well for the fungas and allergy issue between bathing.
If you want to get to the root of the problem, get your pet off of ALL commercial pet food. Don't listen to your vet if they are selling food in their store..they have an agenda to make money, and it is NOT good for your pet.
It is easy to get a big soup pot and throw in a bunch of veggies and protein to make a stew...pets need about 20 calories per pound, so a 20 pound dog should eat 400 calories per day, 50 percent of that should be protein.
A good read is a nutrition book by Pat McKay..you can get the recipe for free online, just do a google search.
The raw food diet is a little more work but is by FAR the best,but I do pour boiling water over the surface of the meat to kill any bacteria. Eliminate grains and remember that many dogs are allergic to chicken.
One of my dogs is on beef and fish only for protein, then in a blender I mix raw cabbage, asparagus, raw sweet potato, kale. Add cooked , mashed carrots with just a dash of salt.
For treats, give your dog a RAW beef rib bone. Dip in boiling water for a second. This will clean their teeth and keep them happy for a couple of hours.
Add GOOD pet vitamins. Again, Mckay has some good ones on her site that are working good for my dogs. Homemade pet food does not have the needed bonemeal and basic vitamins in it so you have to add these.
Vaccines are given too much. Give only what is required by law and know that after your dog is 5 years old ,the vaccinations are highly ineffective anyway..it's a money maker and in some cases can make your pet sick.
If you do the bathing and change the diet, you will find the allergy issue to be eliminated or drastically reduced.
Dogs can live over 20 years if you take good care of them, and many do outside of the US.
Good luck...just like humans, allergies is a complex issue,but if you do this you will find that it works well for most dogs.

I had to write a review, and I never do that. I use this shampoo, then mixed 1/2 apple cider vinegar and 1/2 water with a drop or 2 of olive oil in spray bottle and shook it really good. After he is dry I spray this on him and work in. At night, I massage the olive oil on his head and around his neck and wipe excess of with washcloth. Changed to high quality grain free dog food, use immune booster liquid and put fish oil over food. Also, I give him 1/2 cup of plain yogurt in the morning.(the food switch has been a week) All dandruff and bumps are 100% better and going away. There is no itching and he is FULL of energy!!!
His coat is gleaming, he is growing hair back where he rubbed off around eyes. Also, he hates sitting with the shampoo on for 10-15 minutes, but he hates baths anyway, but afterward, he is SO happy. You can just tell it makes him feel great!

Okay, so here's the deal. I ordered this shampoo a couple of weeks ago. I had okay results the first time I used it. Here's the deal, you have to use it a few times to see a difference. My dogs have awful skin conditions that are genetic (1 AKC Rott/ 1 mixed Rott). On top of that, I had a flea thing going on that was making them both (and me) absolutely miserable. If they scratched I scratched. We looked like the Three Stooges gone wrong! I was too embarassed to have anyone come to my home because of this flea parade. GOD forbid a flea jump onto a guest! One did jump off of me at work and onto my desk. It never knew what hit it and I think I fractured my hand. Oh well. Embarassment averted.
Back to the shampoo.
After the second use, I started seeing a remarkable difference in the apperance of their coats, their skin, and the itching and scratching. The scratching and crying practically ceased immediately after the second bath. It turned my big boy back into the horrible monster my neighbors fear (hey, I live in Detroit so give me a break) and people cross the street when they see him coming. He's a beauty. A 143 lb. terror. My girl is just the most loveable, sweetheart in the world. Although fearsome looking, she will lick you to death long before she'll bite you. Because of the Pittbull irresponsible owners in my area and throughout Detroit, she must wear a spiked collar (it's pink) so she looks extra scary.
Back to the shampoo.
Okay, so after the second bath, their condition got a lot better. There was actual noticeable improvement after about four (4) days. I started bathing them with the shampoo every five (5) which ticked off my vet but I was desperate. My babies needed relief and he was just charging me up the...we won't say and they were still miserable. Unfortunately for me, I ran out and forgot to order more before time for their fourth (4) bath. Keep your fingers crossed.
I simply followed directions by lathering them up, leaving the shampoo on for about 10 minutes, rinse, and pat dry. Now here's the weird part. I was eaves-dropping on a conversation in the vet's office about a year ago and overheard two pet owners discussing how they use...uhm...mechanical...uhm...an adult toy that...uhm...it buzzes and vibrates...there's just no delicate way to say it.
So anyway, I spent a very embarassing few moments in a store purchasing the aforementioned toy (for my dogs). I give them their bath, and ran the toy along their bodies just behind the comb. They love it! I noticed that their fur is growing thicker, it's not shedding, it relaxes them (cut it out and lets keep it clean), and they sleep like newborns afterwards. In the conversation, the two customers talked about the same results for their dogs. Give it a shot. It was either that or I spent close to $500 taking them to a dog spa.
