Nice 10' length but sliced in half the long way!! They are NOT whole antlers!!! The manufacture slices them in half the long way and packages them to look like WHOLE antlers! Antlers sliced long-ways chip and split easier than whole antlers.

Called manufacturer and was told that they sell them by weight. WELL, MAYBE THEY SHOULD STAT THAT WHEN SELLING!!!

I was told I "could request a whole antler" in my next order. Again, not specified in the ad. ...And, there probably won't be a next order.

BOTTOM LINE; Be upfront with what you're selling. Look at the antler package and you would never know it was sliced in half as the slice is on the underside.

AND; After contacting them (American Antler) they acted like it was MY error and didn't offer to make it right.

This antler is a good size for a 60 lb dog. I don't know how they get "X-Large" for these things but anyway. The one I received was 8 or 9 inches long and had maybe 1.5 2" of width for most of it. Seeing as these are a natural antler, they will all be different in size but that should give you an idea. I bought this for him on May 9th and he is a little less than halfway through it so I expect it to last him the summer. His breed is Entlebucher, which is the smallest of the Swiss Mountain Dogs and he is a 60 lb very srong dog with moderate to heavy chewing habits.

The one I received was a bit thin in diameter not quite like the picture. But still a better value than the local pet store
