NEWTS CHEWS ANTLER, SLICED ELK proved to be a wonderful present for our dogs. The chews are large enough to be cut into pieces
small enough for smaller dogs to handle, and are a better buy than purchasing small pieces which have already been cut. Since the
marrow is exposed, the smaller dogs can easily dig the marrow out without having to try and tackle a larger antler which has not been
sliced. These chews are like candy to all dogs, and they absolutely love them!

We have 4 dogs and 3 of them (2 shelties and a Papillion) fought over this sliced elk one and another Newts Chews antler the other dog (mix) could care less. However, one of the 3 dogs (who has a sensitive stomach) threw up 3 days in a row after chewing on the marrow didn't seem to bother the other 2 but we put them away and won't be buying anymore. It's back to the Dream bones and Dingo Chip twists. They don't last as long but they aren't as expensive and we haven't had any issues with them.Buy Newts Chews Antler, Sliced Elk Now
This is a great product. My dog is infatuated with this antler chew. I picked the antler that is split down the middle because he is older and not a strong chewer. He is very happy gnawing at the exposed marrow. If your dog is a strong chewer I would recommend getting the antler that is not sawn down the middle. The intact antler would last longer. This product does not make a mess as there are no dyes. It does not splinter like bone, or get gooey like rawhide. I don't have to clean bits of goo off my dog when he is done chewing. I will buy this again (and again).Read Best Reviews of Newts Chews Antler, Sliced Elk Here
I've tried deer antlers. Some were great, others splintered into sharp shards that scared me. I tried a whole elk antler ($30). It was durable, all right, because after my dogs figured out they couldn't get to much of the marrow, they lost interest. But all of them LOVE this antler. They can grab onto it easily and scrape at the marrow. They all love it so much I have to be careful that they don't fight over it. However, one of them has managed to wear away the outer shell. She is a pit bull, but she's not an unusually powerful chewer. Still, I would recommend this antler. The pieces they wear off are small, not sharp shards like the deer antlers, and it keeps them busy for a while and seems to satisfy their chewing needs better than artificial chew toys. These antlers are expensive, but well worth the money. They last for weeks, and they are clean and odor-free. I buy the split/sliced ones because my dog lost interest in the whole one I bought for her she couldn't get to the marrow.
