It's reassuring that consumers have more and better choices of dog treats than they did just a few years ago. Instead of a sea cluttered with junk filled "treats" there are now recipes with better ingredients and a lack of fillers and chemicals, even from mainstream Pet Food giants.

Our dogs really like these chewy Healthy Favorites, and I've become a fan of them myself.

As a spudmaniac, I am especially pleased with the inclusion of dried potato and sweet potato in the recipe.

The flat bottomed bag stands up straight and comes with a built in sealing strip. We often transfer the treats to an easier opening bag or plastic container with a tightly fitting lid.

I'm not real thrilled that brown sugar is the second ingredient listed in the recipe, but our dogs don't seem to mind. Even garlic is somewhat controversial as a dog treat additive, but it's far down on the list of ingredients.

As occasional treats, these Milk-Bone offerings are tops.

You can buy these in the grocery store for about 3.59 for the same size my dog does love them but omg there not gold try the same product five bags for 17.75.

My shih tzu is getting up there in years and has some problems with his teeth. The poor little guy is missing quite a few of them. We've started giving him soft biscuits so his mouth doesn't become irritated. We typically buy Canine Carry Outs and he likes those.

I came across this product in the grocery store and decided to give it a try with my pooch. He loves them. LOVES!

They break easily into smaller chunks without crumbling. The biscuit is perfect for putting in your pocket since they aren't sticky or wet to the touch.

Another winner for my little doggie.
