I always buy Made in the USA treats for my dog as well as dog foods since I lost my Airedale due to melamine poisoning with chinese ingredients in dog food. These liver treats cost a bit more but are worth it...pup loves them.

After my Pit-mix had trouble with food allergies, I tried and tried to find a no grain, no corn, no chicken treat that she would like. She loves these treats and with them made in the USA (which I think should be printed right on the front of the bag) how can you beat them. I find them in the store by me for about $20 for the 8oz bag and love getting them here ususally on sale for just about $20 for the 16.6 oz bag. Yes there is some crushed powder from the treats in the bottom of the bag but I have not found it to be a huge amount or enough to make me think about not ordering these treats.

Our Shitzu is very picky when it comes to treats, which is good I guess. Only puppy sized Milkbones and Dried Liver Treats. We used a different brand in the past, but tried PureBites and he loves them, just as much. The other brand sells them in a hard plastic (reusable)container and the PureBites are in a bag/pouch. Not sure if that contributes to more breakage of pieces or if it's just they way they are processed. Since our pooch is a small dog, he doesn't need "big bites", so these are just fine for him. Price per ounce seems better on the PureBites too.

I have purchased a large bag based on reviews to my 3-months old puppy (Black Russian Terrier). I have purchased before a small bag of frozen liver treats, but different brand and my puppy loved them! He doesn't want to even try this treats when he is hungry (spits them back). Comparing to the other brand he just hovers them up quickly asking for more. My guess there is something in the quality! Both are Freeze Dried liver.
