Granted, she adores most food items (oddly not mushrooms though) and once even snuck up onto the dining room table to steal some food--as a very leggy greyhound at around 55# you can imagine it was a little startling. Since then there are always a few treats she treasures more than the others and I call them DTW--'dining table worthy'. She has always loved the Blue Buffalo bites and this upgrade/new packaging definitely are DTW--though my husband claims this is a return to an older style of treat.

They are especially nice as there are no digestive issues afterwards to make the humans around her wish they had nose plugs. Many treats, due to what I suspect are inferior ingredients, have a room clearing effect on her digestion. I was quite pleased to see the lack of sugar as an ingredient--last time I was in a grocery store I checked the back of every dog treat and there was sugar in every one. This was salmon, potato, peas with a few things like citric acid and smoke flavoring far down the list. Thankfully they add up to the Blue Buffalo treats being GI-tract safe.

edited to add: I rescind my comment about digestive issues. If, oh say some DOG NAMED JACKIE, decides to sneak almost a whole bag of treats (yes I'm looking at you dog!) then yes, there can be digestive issues. Jackie managed to down almost a whole bag and did thank us with some rather gaseous emissions. Obviously it was my fault for leaving them in a reachable location...silly girl loves these things!
